I personally am not a queen fan, but my father has acquired a copy of 'innuendo' and we were wandering if it's a standard run of the mill copy, or something of a rarity?
It's 12 inch on white vinyl entitled "innuendo explosive version". There is no picture on the front of the sleeve but the back has a row of trumpet-blowers on it.
Can anyone shed any light on this? If it's rare i'd hate to see it stuck in my house where it's not apprecaited.
Ah, the ellusive rare Innuendo 12" picture disc. I have two of these.
Yes, I thought it was going to be rare as well back when I bought TWO of these. It is not the entire Innuendo Album. The explosiveness of Innuendo? At the end it sounds like your turntable just caught on fire. That's the only difference than the album version.
Luckily I kept one of these sealed, but if anyone wants a very yellow-stained (front side only) copy of this, it's yours. It only hung on a bar room wall for about 11 years, so the Marlboro scent is still looming.
But no, it's not a rare promotional only item... just a standard picture disc release. Most of the Innuendo-era singles aren't worth too much because they printed SO many of them anticipating a big run.
