Washington (ANI): The dream rock band would consist of Keith Moon, Eric Clapton and Freddie Mercury, according to a new poll. The survey found that the late, great Keith Moon is the drummer most aspiring British musicians would have wanted in their 'Dream Band Lineup'.
Clapton beat the likes of Brian May, Jimi Hendrix and Slash to be named the ultimate guitarist in the survey, conducted on behalf of Guitar Hero World Tour, reports Contactmusic. According to the poll, May''s former Queen bandmate Mercury was seen as the ideal vocalist to front any rock band.

Yeah, a basist might help a bit! HA! Great selections, although, I can't hear Freddie in the same band as Clapton. Slash would be a better fit. His riffs are similar to Brian's. But, hey, let's face it, you just can't beat the Freddie and Brian duo.
Clapton is the most overated axe man ever! There are loads of better players. Playing 11 nights at the Royal Albert Hall proves he cant be arsed to get out and give his fans a proper tour
