A recent radio interview of a NYC radio station with Brian May from Barcelona is online here (Matt's podcasts) link
In the interview Brian says that a US tour has been considered but no dates have been set yet and spring is rather unlikely.

Especially if TCR entered so low on the charts! It would be wise of them to do so, but more importantly, because SO many of us want to see them again!
I hope it happnes sometime in 2009!
BTW...did anyone see the concert in US theaters last week? My wife and I went and it was awesome...unfortunatly there were only 4 other people in the theater with us! Sheesh. Hopefully bigger cities had bigger turn outs...?
It actually charted very HIGH for a Queen album...but I think a tour could push it into the Top 40 or maybe even 20, this is one of the most important times to tour which is odd.
well, perhaps, but I think it just dropped below 100 this week, can't see 101-200, so have no idea whether it remains charted or not in its second spectacular week.
Brian sounded to me like he's pondering summer rather than spring... spring just seems to strike him as too soon, when mentioned. I dunno. Anybody's guess.

Nevermind how high it charted, for a week. Already it's gone and done. I think you'll find the older Queen albums have gone on to sell in far greater numbers in the US than TCR could ever hope to.
Drop the useless premise that TCR sales are in anyway comparable to just about any old album featuring the real "Queen"
That is SO disappointing! Wow, I was really hoping they would tour here in the spring. But summer isn’t too far away from that so hopefully they will be here then.[/img]
I also went to the theater viewing of the concert. It was awesome and we were two out of about 12 in the theater. (glad I brought kleenex) It was not publicized, and the only reason we knew about it was because we heard someone win tickets to it on the radio. No advertisement at all.
They MUST tour.
