The freddie and cliff performance in 1988, is it on the freddie box set or no?...Also, Does anyone agree that freddie's voice during 'each one of us' is at it's best. Over the last year I'v been getting more and more into this performance. They only sing 2 or 3 songs?...I'm to lazy to do the research.
nope not on it...but somewhere on the net you should find it. It's an audience-recording, quality isn't that good. Might be the reason, why it's not on the Box-set.
There are 3 songs performed by Fred:
- In My Defense
- Born to rock 'n roll
- It's Everyone of us
This has been mentioned a few times. There are audience recordings which are pretty poor but there is a decent recording of It's In Every One Of Us which clearly isn't an audience recording. It has been reported that the event was recorded that night and Dave Clarke has the master copy. If this is the case it's a real shame they were not included on the box set, but there are obvious reasons why they may not have been. I would love to hear Freddie singing In My Defence and Born To Rock'n'Roll live in better quality. His voice does sound great and this is of course his last true live performance (Barcelona was mimed).
