Punks. No Mr. Deacon has retired from the music industry. Maybe he will change his mind in the future...it's still going really great with Queen + Paul Rodgers in the meantime both live and in the studio. The three of them took turns recording the bass on the latest studio l.p.

In title of Queenzone.com it says Queen Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Talyor, band music
but why there's no John Deacon since he's still Queen member (this has nothing to do with Queen + Paul Rodgers) ?
Look at all those threads about John D. and you will see.
I think it's because Freddie and he were "allies" in the band and that John used Freddie to get his work through the Queen machine as the late singer liked his work and was willing to fight with the other two for it to be made and released. Without Freddie there it really is 2 on 1. Rumours persisted for years that Brian and John in particular didn't get on. Maybe he felt that with Freddie gone he was no longer an equal member of the band and decided it wasn't worth it.
I think that it's because that John has "ditched" queen and the music industry in general, so since he's not an active part of queen anymore, he doesn't get showed. Freddie died, so he didn't quit, he died. That's why he's there and johns not.
