Watching the clip of the O2 gig I noticed on the maple kit at the back that Roger is using a Sabian 17" crash on his left (the small one over the hi hat)
Might not be a 17" but that was the size he used on the last tour. This appears to be the only Sabian cymbal in his set up. Wonder why? he has been using Zils for ages now?
Ican't say I noticed at the glasgow gig but I'd imagine its all down to sponsership or something. For years didn't he also use only Ludwig drums but has now changed to DW.
Speaking of chages on this and the last tour, why do they not all wear adidas trainers/sneakers anymore? I always used to find that quite funny.
The rest of the cymbals are as before and Sabian didn't appear in the programme as a sponser.
I don't think Roger has done much in the way of sponsership for a while. He is still listed as a Ludwig drummer on their site and aslo on the Sleishman site, however not yet on the DW site!

I'm 99% sure that this is the sole Sabian Cymbal for his stage kit.
Interestingly, as you can see my picture from the O2, on his B-Stage kit it's a Zildjian K
I think you are right, if you saw the Al Murray clip on his show the Sabian logo is clearly visable on the cymbal, seems rather strange unless one was damaged before the show.

I don't have the Kharkov DVD, which would provide us with an answer to that question, I guess!

It's a Sabian 14" Crash,I could'nt tell you what model it is (Poss AAX or HH)
Roger has always used 14" crashes for that part of his cymbal set-up.
Hope this helps.
Jamie
Not sure you are right about the 14" always being there, to be honest he has always since the 70's used big cymbals and that one has been a 17" for a good number of years, usually a mixture of Zils and Paiste through the 80's and pretty well all Zils from then on

It was definitely a 17" in both 2005 and 2006.
I think the last time he mixed the Cymbals was the Hot Space Tour, as you can see on the MK DVD.
