Been chatting with another fan from this board and the conversation steered towards guns. He says "put out the fire" and I, not wanting to be undone in knowing Queen songs, snappily reply "A gun in my pocket, don't get me wrong..."
Suddenly, the double meaning of that verse flashes before my eyes, but it's too late.

I guess that's a downside of being a non-native English speaker. I'll never forget that one time I was in England and somehow came to the (erroneous) conclusion "to have one off the wrist" (heard in Monty Python's The Brian Song) meant "to drink a shot" and cheerfully proceeded to use it that way...
