Ive watched a couple of vids on Youtube and he fits in so muhc more than Danny does. Danny got on my nerves on the last tour and I know I'm not alone on that view. I for one don't wish that Danny gets better but I feel Q+PR will be so much better without him and with NM.
I just hope he's playing for the Liverpool gig!

Hooray - someone talking my language!!!. Has more experience with the Queen phenomenon that Danny. Nothing against Danny at all - hope he recovers - but having seen Neil last night in Cardiff - he gets my vote.
Rhythm section last night - awesome!! Maybe Neil's prescence has improved the perfromance of the band!
Last night - best Queen show I've seen since Wembley ' 86. Something just clicked - Brian was superb as was the rest of the band. Just really honoured to have been there. Cardiff 08 - memorable performance.

Why did he get on your nerves? He is a highly accomplished player and obviously both Brian and Roger feel he cuts the mustard otherwise he would not have been asked back for this tour.
Having seen him last time out twice and now recently at the O2 gig, I can say that he fits right in and frankly I can't see any reason to not have him.
I saw Neil on the Brian May solo tours and he was great, I was surprised they didn't pick him (maybe he doesn't want to tour at the moment) EIther way I think Danny does a great job and should remein in place
Neil definitely would want to tour with Queen but he wasn't invited. Probably that's because Danny is a better singer and the backing vocals are needed.
Yeah it's pretty much down to backing vocals. Danny can sing therefore he is the right choice. And after all him and Jamie are not there to be the main focus of the show, they provide the rythm and backup. I think it would be unfair to kick Danny out at this stage. Ok Neil Murray was good, and deserved to fill in for the gig, but i think keeping Danny would be a sensible solution.

my thoughts as well....it's probably down to the vocals
I was surprised when neil wasn't a part of it in 2005
I'm no expert, but I think Neil fitted perfectly - at least considering he had a few hours rehearsal

I think Danny is a standard bass player, nothing remarkable, but he is the worst musician in the band. He's very, very far from John's level.
