...what the fuck is it with all these god-damned trolls popping out of nowhere ever since 'The Cosmos Rocks' came out??
I swear, the trollage is really rearing its ugly head not just here, but at QOL as well.
And quite a few people I've noticed have acquired that disease, that seemed normal otherwise before.
Are you assholes out on some sort of mission from God or something? Are you part of a Freddie/Scientology-type cult that most of us are unawares of?
What do you guys have to gain personallyfrom trolling every Q+PR topic? Isn't 2, 3 enough for Christ's sake!
I think we really need to implement moderating here at some point. This is getting ridiculous.
I don't mind trolls as a standalone phenomenon. I troll Youtube all the time, it's kind of funny.
However, it makes serious discussion here almost an impossibility. If I have something good to say about TCR, for instance, I'm a stepford. If I list the (manifest) things I don't like about it, I'll probably be accused of being part of "the cult of Freddie". Neither are true; but what I'm getting at is that genuine criticisms and appreciation are almost totally ignored on this forum. People will ignore comments of substance that are actually relevant to the work that's being discussed, and instead dive for some inane nonsense from Treasure Moment or Tero. It's annoying.
They should create another section just to talk about the Q+PR recordings so it doesn't fill up the Queen General and the Queen Serious discussion sections!

That's part of the personality and character of a "true fan".

Oh fuck, I'm obviously tired. I meant to write "FUEL to the FIRE".....but xD
I was just about to comment on the increase of butchered cliches popping up lately, but yes the trolls are in full force. John Deacon is very, very bored.
If I was one of these "Freddie only" Paul haters, I'd be apathetic towards the new tour.
It's real simple: Queen died with Freddie, that's it, the end, so if anything else comes along I will like it or not, i'll engage in following it, or I'll move on with the post-Freddie days of present. I cannot identify with ANYONE who actually complains about a further chapter of Queen.
If you like the 1st Star Wars trilogy, good for you. Obviously the pre-quels were pathetic and ruin the whole of it, but that doesn't in anyway infect the original trilogy as a seperate property. The pre-quels would ruin the first three, that's why I do not try and connect the two seperate sets, and so I go on ignoring the new I dislike without it making any difference towards my opinion on the 3 original films I cherish and will always cherish.
The first and obvious question to these idiots would be, "Should Brian and Roger go back into retirement and leave it as it is, or should they not enjoy their new union with PR and make what they will of it for us to take or leave as we choose?" Why in the hell would it taint something that otherwise would have gone on with the same situation as now except for it being minus a new chapter that some feel happy as hell about their writing of it? If it works, great, Queen's back for a new go at life. If not, doesn't the simple failure of it in your eyes not only miss any effect of Freddie's Queen period, but in contrast clearly show Freddie's superiority and give conviction and strength to his legacy being untouchable??
Nope, people instead have to cry like little children who have yet to learn any intelligence growing philosophies on how to handle a free gift most of us had given no hope in ever having. Some people just like to feel threatened by stupid things and push their negative voice into oppositional blabbering as if their somehow affected by a seperate entity that has no subtraction from the genuine article.
Wait till next summer when Zeppelin tours without Plant who has bailed out via announcement, adding his best wishes for luck to whatever they endeavor towards without him. I hope it's Coverdale, but if I don't like the singer I will say "Bummer! Bad call zep." and move on. I won't be one of these gimps whos every "I hate Paul" post I read is mentally inner thought by me with a speedy following responding thought, "Why on Earth do these people get to drain our planet's precious oxygen supply." I hate and despise any and every Q+PR basher, Queen fan or not, who utters a public online post suggesting that they go back to doing NOTHING in the 21st Century up 'til Paul's arrival except a stupid sounding play that I give ZERO thought or interest to. The Cosmos Rocks may not be the real deal, but it's the only deal we've got and if these people feel the need to bash it, they should be banned permanently from a QUEEN board intended for FANS. It's one thing to be critical, it's entirely another to criticize the act of something disliked opposed to the act of no act at all.

Now who's talking about following cults here? If we hate TCR we must be killed from the face of the Earth (or at least from this forum). Fine thoughts you have. Close the doors to non-believers, those that don't believe that this is the best thing they have ever done, and that's it. The so-called haters will understand it, I guess.
It's perfectly understandable the frustrations of both sides (Freddie and Paul worshippers), but one thing that shouldn't be missed is our ability to at least express - as fans - our thoughts - rationally, if possible -, be them against the secret cults or not. These idiots that say "I want to kill Paul" or something are the real trolls that are talked about in this thread (although banning them would cut out most of the fun), not these people that point out the flaws in the Q+PR project. The trolls exist just because they are being fed by the priests of the secret cults.
I support the idea of creating a separate section or board, whatever you call it, to speak about Queen+PR. And are there any moderators in this forum? It seems to be very liberal, which is actually good.
