Why is QOL advising the UK leg of the Tour, and indeed the rest of the European Tour is/was Sold Out?
There appears to be plenty of tickets left for the Manchester show and having checked, there are also tickets left for Liverpool-
QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS FOLLOW SOLD OUT EUROPEAN TOUR WITH UK DATES BEGINNING THIS WEEK:
Start Nottingham Arena, Friday 10 Oct
Having completed the first leg of its extensive European tour which has seen the band play 15 sold-out dates across nine countries including Russia, Latvia, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands, the Queen + Paul Rodgers Cosmos Rocks tour now heads for the UK opening the first of 11 concerts this Friday, October 10 at Nottingham Trent Arena.
The UK tour, which sold out within 90 minutes of going on sale, includes three London dates, the first of which is 02 Arena this coming Monday, October 13.
Back on the road for the first time since they toured together in 2005, and with a first studio album recorded together – The Cosmos Rocks – under their belt, Queen + Paul Rodgers hit the road in spectacular fashion.
Before starting their tour in Moscow, the band played a special one off concert for HIV AIDS awareness in the Ukraine with a free open air concert in Kharkov’s Freedom Square. Playing for the Elena Franchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation which campaigns for greater public and institutional efforts to tackle AIDS in the Ukraine, Queen + Paul Rodgers drew a record crowd of more than 350,000 to see them play a special two hour set under the campaign banner “Don’t let AIDS ruin your life”. Taking the message to an even wider audience, a record 10 million more Ukrainians watched the show live on television.
In a remarkably fast turn-around, a cinema version of that historic AIDS concert is to be seen in US cinemas next month. Called Let the Cosmos Rock – Queen + Paul Rodgers Live from the Ukraine the film will be a cinema event held in over four-hundred movie theatres across the US from November 6th. The film will then play in cinemas across the UK and Europe in the lead up to World AIDS Day, December 1.
The tour has been marked with other newsworthy moments – such as when Latvian Prime Minister Ivars Godmanis traded his state seat for one behind Roger Taylor’s drum kit when he joined the band on stage at its Riga concert to perform with Brian May and Paul Rodgers on the song All Right Now to the total surprise of the 12,000 capacity Riga Arena crowd.
We can only wonder at what similar surprises might lay ahead for UK audiences.

SweetCaroline will be all over this but disappointed.
Why? Thread is 10 years old!
Because it's not Adam Lambert.
Not as if she cares about Q+PR to begin with.
True. Only Adam. If Brian and Roger died, she'd be thinking of a way Adam can promote his music on the heels of their deaths.
I think you are right. She can't stand to even have posts turn to even Freddie, no matter what she always wants the focus on/about Lambert. See her gift from God post after you and I were discussing Freddie in the other thread. Goes to show how she will take any excuse to promote and big up AL.
