Hello everybody, I've been planning to start this thread since the new Tour started, and in fact Andy1962's similar recent thread has caught me in between, as I ignore his plans for that particular thread Mine is to post here not only the covers I'll be creating, but the covers any of you would like to post. Everybody's welcome! In fact I've PMed Andy just to know if he wanted to do something similar with his thread. If so, as he posted first, I don't mind to post all my covers in his thread ! The more covers we have, the better for us !! It doesn't matter in wich thread we post them, but I think it would be good to have only one thread to post any artwork for the current tour. Just as Olivier has done in his index for the 2008 Tour video/audio recordings. Concentrate all the covers we create in just one thread. I'd like to insist that this thread is only intended to be for the CURRENT TOUR. And to start, I deliver a cover I created for my own use, but decided to share it with you: LIVE IN KHARKOV I ripped the audio from the DVD5 (Life Must Go On) shared here and decided to make my own double-cd, being that the reason why you'll find the track repartition already assigned for Discs 1 & 2. If anybody is interested in this audio rip from the DVD5, I'll be glad to post it here. I captured all the images from the DVD and created the cover I'm taking a rest on Pittrek's Best Of The Best series (wich I will complete, of course) and will concentrate on the current tour for some time, so more covers will arrive soon. In fact, as Andy did, if anybody is kind enough to send me pics of the shows (I've already collected some) , ticket scans, etc, it'll be really appreciated ! and, Dobo ... I'm sorry but .. yes, the audio rip is lossy, so ... anyway I really really enjoy it when listening to it in my car, and I'm actually working on some kind of remaster to improve it a little bit - experts advise welcome ... pittrek? where are you, pittrek?? ;) - but the quality is ok to me. I wish it was lossless, but this is what we have, the AC3 source from the DVD |

hummmm .. I don't really know, because I'm not an expert on that field; In fact this was my first intention, but since the video is not complete, I had to rip it from the DVD5; maybe someone can clarify this later |

Nice covers, guys ! Dobo - the audio is of course lossy. The DVD format can include 4 types of audio tracks - LPCM, AC3, MP2 and DTS, and only LPCM is lossless. |

vali, thanks, i can safely say there is a full audio recording of the show currently going through trades and i have been promised it will appear sometime in mp3 format. in the mean time i have all but 5 songs in good quality from various sources but still sound great! same with the video, video ok might not be as good quality but it still sounds awesome lol thanks mate,...like i said im impatient and im too excited to see it :P |

Many thanks NaughtonSimao; can't remember where I got the font I use. It's a part of a Queen fonts set I downloaded from an argentinean site, I think. For this particular series of artwork I'm just using one font: Folio Bold BT (wich is the font for "One Vision"). The colours, etc, come courtesy of the program I use, Paint Shop Pro. |

HAHAHHAHA !!! Man !! for what I've seen .... we were very close in the queue outside the venue and even inside the Palacio De Los Deportes ! In the fifth pic I can see my girlfriend sitting on the floor (we were in the 1st queue seen in the pic). She's sitting just in front of a standing portuguese guy wearing a black cap and with his arms crossed. I was also there, but a blonde lady standing with a white coat blocks me to be seen in this pic. Even inside the venue we were a few meters away, as I was just at the end of the catwalk (right side, if you look at the stage) and I can see your spot was in the middle of the catwalk. Heheheh .. this is funny ! By the way, great pics ! I'm gonna use some of them for the Madrid artwork ..... hurry, upload the audio [img=/images/smiley/msn/wink_smile.gif][/img] !! |

Well, let's see: CD RIGA: no proper recording shared and public available here at QZ. The mp3 Youtube rip is not enough for me. I didn't download it. No cover planned. If you have another better recording, please share it and a cover will be made. NOTTINGHAM: well, we have an mp3 version ... a lossless one would be better ... yes, there will be a cover, but not soon. ZURICH: no recording available at QZ. No cover planned. When I created both QPR Antwerp+Paris covers I made two versions: one with Queenaddict's recording details and another one (same design) with Ruth Olivier's recording details. I didn't post the 2nd version as those recordings have not been made available for everyone until yesterday.
