Your memories will long out live a few dodgy poor quality video clips. |

Very love Ahoy's gigs and hope what someone record this gig |

Recording? What? That is illegal, how can anybody do it? :-))) No seriously, people - please DO record. More recordings = more memories = more trading possibilities :-) It's not fair if all the recordings are done by the same three or four people all the time. |

Wow! Just arrived back home from Rotterdam, it was a great show and the guys really seemed to enjoy themselves a lot! The combination of C-lebrity & SUSO worked briliantly too. |
deacontheone 07.10.2008 18:02 |
I've just arrive back from ahoy and the concert was brilliant. Brian his voice was good and i've really enjoyed :) Now i'm gonna take a look at my photo's. |
Daniel vZ 07.10.2008 18:07 |
It was awesome!! And had Brian tears in his eyes at the end of Love of My Life? |
Richard Lopata (new email) 07.10.2008 18:38 |
Very good show indeed, and again superb sound quality in the Ahoy stadium!!! They opened up with full speed and great dynamics, up to a climaxing C-Lebrity / SU...SO!!!, great combo by the way!!! Than the acoustic bits, the solos, Roger doing AKOM, etc ... it was outstanding! Great spirit they had, yes! And a lot of enthousiasm ... and I think Roger is in his best shape ever! The downside: We Believe was played and the whole build-up of the night was lost and gone. I think the audience's attention was recaptured with BoRap ... and a lot of songs were shortened! The encores were great, but no "We got Rotterdam rockin' ... unfortunately! |
AP-Racing 07.10.2008 18:55 |
You know - i thinkin Brian tears - part of show He cryin' on every concert.... |
bst123 07.10.2008 19:03 |
It was great, the best bit was the b-stage show with Roger and Brian (39,LOML, IILWMC, AKOM). Paul was not in a very good shape and the overall sound was not right during the first half hour, or am i the only one who noticed that?(only low and high frequenties), it got better during the B-stage set. I must say that the new songs didn't go down well. One thing the concerts proofs to me is the fact that Roger and Brian where and still are great musicians in there own right. They probebly wouldn't be touring if Freddie was still alive because i think they would have called it a day in the year 2000. Still it keeps you wondering what might have been. Great gig, but i must say Queen to me still are/where Freddie, Brian, Roger and John and this is something else, good, but they did loose some magic that surrounded Queen and you can't fill this enormous hole(s). |
Mr. Scully 07.10.2008 20:58 |
Average concert, nothing special. SURPRISINGLY very quiet audience (I mean the seats - standing area was okay). I looked around during the rock part of BoRhap and everybody was just sitting on asses and doing nothing. Except for one particular sector on the right side - I wonder who was there :) Surf's Up after C-lebrity sucks! Such a great song it is... but it works well only as the intro. Hopefully they move it back. Just heard the bootleg from tonight... amazing work. Any traders out there? :-) |

Great show. The video wall had a small delay, but the sound was great. Paul is still growing, tossing and turning the micro-stand as he used to do with Bad Company. Brain en Roger on the B-stage... At that moment I also wondered... What if ...... Someone to the right of the B-stage made DVD and audio recordings.... :-)))) Hope he wants to share\trade |
Richard Lopata (new email) 08.10.2008 06:31 |
I agree with you Scully that SUSO was a good opener (and TYMD after the introtrack didn't work) But I do not agree with you that CLEB / SUSO sucked ... I thought it was a nice surprise ... The crowd sitting down during BoRap? Well DUH! ... too much solo's, too much short versions, too much We Believe ... The whole We Believe - Brian Solo part just took the drive out of the whole thing... I have nothing to offer but I'm always interested in bootlegs of the shows that I attended. I went to Antwerp and Rotterdam, and it ends here ... so if anyone has those shows, ... I would be much obliged |
Queenman!! 08.10.2008 06:46 |
I found the show in Rotterdam very short. Brian and Roger were in great shape. Paul's voice was crap. Het let the audience sing most of the parts and was more offstage than onstage singing. BoRhap was indeed very dull....and what a difference between Freddie and Paul. I was standing near the right side of the stage. Great people over there. |
Mr. Scully 08.10.2008 08:21 |
Rotterdam was indeed the shortest concert so far, I don't know why... They did shorten CLTCL, that may be one of the reasons. I'm sure recordings will emerge... I need to use mine for trading though. |

It was so great! It was my first time to see them live, but it was really awesome!! I think Paul Rodgers did such a great job singing in my opinion (but then, I've never heard Freddie sing live of course). And Brian and Roger were so good too!!! I loved it And there was a woman in the audience close to me dancing very crazy and dramatically (like she was giving a dance show or something, but she couldn't dance well), so that was quite entertaining and hilarious! It was so cute and sad when Brian cried during Love of my life. |

Brian did cry a little, check Youtube! And although the setlist was rather unsurprising, the show was great.Too bad, Holland was only granted one concert..... |

I thought he cried about Freddie, as he sung the song for him |
