This won't be a new idea by any means, but I just thought I'd share something I was thinking about.
On the last tour, I enjoyed the tiny tiny White Man teaser riff before FBG started. It was a lovely nod to the past and to the fans who know and love the more unheard Queen material in comparison to the Greatest Hits fan base.
Even in '85 Queen were paying a bit of Great King Rat, they played Liar, and it still looks like the enjoyed it to this day.
So if QPR want to stick with the Greatest Hits because that's what people know then fine, we can't persuade them to do something they don't want to do.
But I'd love just a bit, a medley, or an unusual /rare beginning or ending to a song that segues from or to the early stuff.
Imagine them starting with the opening riffs of KYA, or It's Late - and hearing how mental the audience would go, just for that 30 seconds of something we long for.
Maybe that would encourage them to think "hmmm, maybe we should do some older stuff".
Pipe dreams I know ...
