Holy shit! How many years has it been since Queen-anything had a single on any chart in the USA? 16? The last one I can remember was the re-release of WATC in '92, which peaked at #52 or thereabouts. Or maybe it was the George Michael Somebody to Love in '93.
Either way, its is a minor fucking miracle in itself!
didn't Boheminan rhapsody do very well here after the waynes world movie? Also I remeber hearing headlong played alot on the radio- but not sure how it charted. But BR I thought shot up the charts? I could be wron

BoRap peaked at #2 in the US hot 100 singles chart in spring '92.
I think Headlong did pretty well on the rock singles chart (or whatever they called it back then) in '91.
Its a shame there isn't one central place online where all kinds of archane Queen information and statistics could be kept ... like some sort of Queen encyclopedia ... a "Queen-pedia" if you will ...
wait a tick!
These are mediabase charts, not billboard
USA Today for example uses mediabase charts link
This shows the current mediabase chart. QPR is at #29 at the moment.
For those of us as confused as I am here is what wikipedia says about these charts:
Mediabase is a division of Premiere Radio Networks, located in Sherman Oaks, California. Mediabase is a music industry website containing in-depth charts and analysis based on the monitoring of 1,836 radio stations in the US and Canada, in 175 radio markets. Mediabase features realtime charts in 25 radio formats, based on radio airplay. In addition, its services has dozens of analytical tools. Mediabase also owns and operates ratethemusic.com, a service that allows consumers to rate music for the radio and record industries.
Radio stations subscribe to Mediabase's monitoring service, via network affiliations. The Mediabase network consists of more than 1,800 radio affiliates. In addition, record company and entertainment executives subscribe on a cash basis.
Mediabase charts are used as the source on the following radio countdown shows: American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest, American Top 20 (and Top 10) with Casey Kasem, The Jeff Worthy Countdown, Crook & Chase Country Countdown, Ben and Brian's Big Top 20 Countdown, Live In The Den with Big Tigger, Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40, and Country Countdown USA with Lon Helton. It is the primary programming tool for nationally syndicated shows like Open House Party, After Midnite with Blair Garner, and Delilah.
....and notice that day by day they keep on going up.....There is a station in Winnipeg that is playing them 2nd only to the new ACDC....keep getting the requests in everywhere (phone, e-mail, websites) as the stations that aren't onboard yet will start getting onboard
Cool!
I'll have to call in to 95.5 KLOS (yes the radio station that Brian May visited earlier this year!) and request C-lebrity til my ears and fingers hurt!
