The latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine (with Metallica on the cover) Queen+ Paul Rodgers get two mentions.
The new album is included in the fall music preview section along with a little write-up. No big deal? Well considering other artists like Oasis, Pink, Beyonce and Nickelback only managed to get in the "also released" section (with just an album title and release date) I'd say this is pretty good.
Then in the music reviews portion, they (gasp!) reviewed "C-lebrity" giving it a shocking 3 and a half stars (out of 5) calling the song "tough, macho gut-bust rock propelled by synthy fills - cool!"

Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor first backed former Bad Company vocalist Rodgers at an awards dinner in 2004 — and they've been touring together ever since. "It seemed the logical next step, to see whether it would work with new songs," says Rodgers. The result is the first new material from Queen in 14 years, with songs ranging from the bluesy "Voodoo" to the comically elaborate "Surf's Up . . . School's Out." Queen's signature stacks of vocal and guitar harmonies are intact, but Rodgers' rough wail is a far cry from Freddie Mercury's high-flying delivery. "We could have had any number of people come along and imitate Freddie, but it would be pointless," says May. "Paul's brought us back to a greater awareness of our instinctive side."

My God - its a sad day when Rolling Stone likes a Queen-something single more than half the whiny quote-unquote fans posting on this message board.
Lube that and stick it up your asses, haters. Better yet - skip the lube. Just push it on up there dry. And then wiggle around a bit.
Wiggle it just a little bit, I wanna see you wiggle it just a little bit, as it grooves

had to do it.... *evil grin*

Somebody less lazy than me should post that as a news item. Why is it only the pathological Q+PR haters post "Cosmos Rocks gets one star review mwahahahahaha we were right all along in our inexplicable hatred" news?
