cmi 14.09.2008 07:15 |
Yes indeed it'll be much better to have authored dvd9, but this is the easiest way to see the concert much faster:) |

Maruga 14.09.2008 10:11 |
Thank you very much. But how can I burn a DVD5? Please anyone explain to me. |
guesswho2 14.09.2008 10:23 |
A DVD5 is the bog standard DVD format. (A DVD9 is also referred to as a Dual Layer disc which can store around twice as much info) Most commercially purchased DVds are Dual Layer but when folk burn on PC they tend to use single layer DVD5 discs(though there are manyb dual layer burners around) If you download this DVD you'll just have to drag the VIDEO_TS file into software (like Nero) and it'll burn OK. The other version of this gig has two large MPEG files that'll need to be put through some other software before being burned. The easiest option is this download. |
MAYniac91 14.09.2008 10:25 |
Thanks so much...looking forward to see the gig. Hope the 7 GB version come back to life real soon! |
popy 14.09.2008 10:25 |
is the audio stereo? the Bijou sample posted on the other topic stated that was stereo, but it's mono. |

Queen729 14.09.2008 11:28 |
Thank you very much for uploading an actual DVD of this show, but I'm having a problem getting the torrent to work. When I added this show into Utorrent, the tracker status said "Failure: The requested torrent is not registered with this tracker". I'm not sure what that means because I am definately not an expert with this kind of thing. Can anyone tell me if they are getting the same error or if there is a way to fix this problem. Thanks. |
MAYniac91 14.09.2008 11:28 |
Seems that the torrent does not work for some people...me including! :o( |

Thanks.Just let it run once you have started it, the tracker can be a bit slow but it will pick you up. It took me 30 minutes to start, 4 hours later im at 100%. Be patient it will work. BTW The show kicked ass! |
Queen729 14.09.2008 11:47 |
thanks for the advice Marknow. I just figured that because the torrent said it had a tracker problem, it would never start. I probably would've given up on it, so I appreciate the help. |
guesswho2 14.09.2008 11:54 |
Strange one this. I'm on the Tracker but only connecting to other folk at 0% !!!! Tracker status is OK. (Currently on the DVD9 version too but with 5 years to go on that one I hoped this version would be a bit quicker!!!!) It does appear that certain folk can download this DVD5 version but others, like me, appear to unable to connect to any seeds. |

People, this torrent works fine, I already downloaded the complete DVD. If you have a problem, please check your firewall settings and your router port mapping. uTorrent, BitComet and BitTornado work with this torrent, so please just download uTorrent, download the torrent file and stay logged in to Queenzone. |

Rien 14.09.2008 14:25 |
Thank you for helping us all out, while we're waiting on the extremely slow 9GB version. (that one has now 2 seeders - one should share the files on dvd with more people so there would be more 100% seeders from the start with these large files...) But this one's great. Just watched it. What a show! Thanks. |
cmi 14.09.2008 15:37 |
I wanna dots all i's. This is not my hard work of recording the show and authoring of dvd. This is the "product" of one Ukrainian fan named AnaTo1iy who shared it on russian tracker. Thanks to him. So my mission is to share it with QZ. P.S.: My favorite part of the show is the acoustic set when Paul Rodgers is not on stage:) |
Mr. Scully 14.09.2008 15:42 |
OK, usually I don't download much from QueenZone but this time I did :-) Thanks very much for this excellent DVD. This is a much better option than the weird 2 disc version from the other torrent. |
Queen729 14.09.2008 15:50 |
I finally got this to start downloading by re-installing utorrent. Thanks to everyone for seeding and thanks to the uploader. |
Rick 14.09.2008 15:54 |
It may be mono and compressed (I think), but this is a great DVD. It has a perfect menu with chapters. I watched the whole thing today, stunning stuff. The highlight for me is the '39 - Bass solo - Drum solo - I'm In Love With Car part. Bijou gave me goosebumps, beautiful. |
Bobby_brown 14.09.2008 16:09 |
Thanks a lot for sharing this. I've seen the concert and i must say that i can see the sparkle again! They were top notch, and it's obvious the amount of work they did for the last month. Paul's voice was superb, and Brian is playing better than ever, BUT i must say that Roger Taylor is at his best. His solo absolutely kicks ass, and it's right in front of the stage.. He starts with Danny Miranda in a fantastic duet - I'm not going to spoil the fun for you- and then he plays his drumkit as it's being constructed in front of the stage. And it was great. Then he sings IILWMC and the first verse of "Say it's not true", and his voice is in great shape too! It was a fantastic performance for the first show, and this tour has everything to be amazing. As a sidenote, i think that they have broken their audience record with 350.000 people. Fantastic! Take care |

CMI wrote: The sound is of course MONO. My upload speed is 400 kB/s.of course MONO? why? |
YourValentine 14.09.2008 19:26 |
I just watched the concert - 147 minutes! The highlights for me were Shooting Star, 39 "unplugged" with the whole band, Bijou, Say It's Not True which sounds amazing without the echos of the studio version and they dropped the slow version of Hammer To fall, great. Cosmos Rocking has a fun feeling I did not perceive that way on the album. Oh and Brian has more hair - how did he do that? On the last tour he had this bald spot which is totally gone now . Probably he asked Paul Rodgers for advice ;) Paul, on the other hand, wore a shirt showing a fat spider in the first part of the concert, a real offense for us arachnophobes... The downside was the AKOM tour intro with One Vision and the video screen with all these additional visuals nobody really needs and only distract from the music (like Elton John in Las Vegas. The video screen is good when they show stage details. I could well live without some of the done-to-death songs but I don't want to start a boring set list discussion and 147 minutes are worth our money, no matter how often they play good old TYMD and FBG. I think they will add more songs from the new album as the tour proceeds. Thanks again for providing this video so fast. |

Hey there, after 9 hours I finished my download, so this evening will bring a lot of pleasure I think. I'm seeding with other 110 seeders. This is a great spirit for this community. I would like to thank all the people who were involved in spreading this recording. Isn't it a great feeling to see your work reaching nearly every continent of the planet making people happy everywhere? Whoaaa I've just finished downloading this, burned to DVD and slapped into the DVD player with much anticipation. I'm blown away. This is tremendous stuff. What I've watched so far is wonderful, broadcast quality and the audio is pretty special, even if it is mono. (is it mono?). Thank you to AnaTo1iy for the hard work in creating this, recording, removing the watermark, authoring and sharing so that QZ could do the same. And to CMI for bringing it here ! Really grateful. I'll be seeding for days with as much bandwidth as I can spare, at max overnight (UK time). And yes, Bijou made me cry too. |

Thanks to AnaTo1iy for this DVD, have burnt it to disc and the menu, video and sound are tremendous. I've been using utorrent and it downloads pretty well, lots of seeders and peers. The only trouble is my ISP connection (Virgin)through my wireless router keeps cutting out, will try seeding overnight (UK) when it is more constant. Cheers, P.S. The artwork for the DVD cover is fantastic, is there any chance of artwork for the disc itself ? It would be much appreciated. |
