Why the fuck couldnt they give him a life time ban? He beats up a team mate at Man City, put a cigar out in another team mates eye, ending his career and beats up a 16 year old lad in an unprovoked attack in Liverpool? When the hell is someone going to break the little bar stewards legs??
Only 12 matches after doing all of that?
That Cuban taekwondo fighter got a lifetime band for hitting a referee, and Michael Vick is likely to never make it back to the NFL after running a fighting dog ring.
Just like Amy Winehouse not being dropped by her label after all the shit she's done.
Although they're likely to make tons of money once she hits the bucket, and that might come sooner than later.
it runs in the family, his brother is inside for murder.i'm sure it was the brother that put the axe in a kid in liverpool a couple of years back *ponders*
isnt it roughly the same length of ban as what Cantona got for his kung-fu kick all those years ago?
at least King Keegan hasnt got to worry about him now.
the bloke is a complete waste of space and shouldnt grace 'the beautiful game'.

Thats just it. To them, she is just a "cash cow". So long as she sells, they will keep her.
As for joey barton, he should have been given a life ban.
Cantona's ban was 8 months, and it's widely acknowledged that he was provoked.
Barton's ban is about right for the single offence to which it applies - a training ground fight. The cigar in the eye happened separately, abroad, and earlier.
However, he's been up in court twice recently, and got a suspended sentence for the second offence, having been jailed for the first one. This seems odd to me.
Meanwhile, given today's ban, and given the precedent set by the treatment of Roy Keane's book, I look forward to seeing Jamie Carragher's ban for his assault on Rigobert Song.
just seen it on the news that its NOT a 12 match ban but only 6 with another 6 suspended ban for any misdemeaners on the pitch this season.
and, while Amy Winehouse has been mentioned,i must make it known that the 48 bottles of JD that she has ordered for her gig this weekend has nothing to do with me.
