This thread is just for fun. Though Johnny Depp seems to be the frontrunner for the part of Freddie in the biopic, nothing has been confirmed from either the Depp or Queen camps. So, which actor(s) would you be most comfortable with playing Freddie?
Some of my choices:
Depp(Young Freddie)
Daniel Day-Lewis(Moustached Freddie)
Tom Selleck(Moustached Freddie)
Ali G(Freddie in his last days)

Roger Taylor - Brad Pitt
Brian May - Brian May
John Deacon - David Schwimmer
Freddie Mercury - Stevie Riks
That is pretty much the perfect Queen lineup for a movie.
Oh and don't forget to put Paul Rodgers playing a roadie.
Jeff Golblum.
Of course, the story will need modifying. That is; Freddie is a genetic scientist who has stumbled upon a mutation that makes him sing really well, and the scientific community doesn't believe him.
I think Depp is ok for Freddie, he's a fantastic actor, and actually he can sing as well!
As for Roger... maybe Brad Pitt, or Jude Law.
But the perfect match I think is Edward Norton for John! He would be great in my opinion!
Brian... ergh... maybe himself? Or Rupert Everett with a wig :D
Chuck Norris as Paul Rodgers!
Imagine, an ass kickin blues singer!
Once he sings WATC, all hell will break loose!
He'll roundhouse all the critics that don't like him being with Queen!
I don't know who should play Freddie. My twin thinks Sacha Baron Cohen should play Freddie cuz he looks like him.
Hmm....I think Johnny Depp should remake I'm Going Slightly Mad cuz Freddie kinda reminded me of Edward ScissorHands.

Agreed on that. That's what it always makes me think of...and then I have weird dreams. (Not quite nightmares...)
Philip Arditti. The name might not mean much to you but he can be seen at the moment playing Saddam Hussein's son in the BBC drama 'House of Saddam.
The guy has the looks and build to play a convincing Freddie and he's a talented actor.
here's a pic. link
Angelina Jolie's brother, James Haven is a natural Freddie look-alike - check out this link and scroll down to the last pic on the page, with him in the middle - looks exactly like Freddie, circa late 70's. link
