Good question!
My guess is that it won't be heard until maybe just a few days before the album comes out (Oct. 14). Actually, I would like to hear more about the album on the television and radio -- not just the internet. It seems as if nobody will know of the album until the day of or after it comes out. I realize people write about it in magazines (especially Classic Rock), but there should be more happening in my opinion.
Of course I doubt there will be ANY promotion for it in North America. It will be slipped onto iTunes quietly. Then they will wonder why it did not do well.

Now, the question is on what channel
I'd guess either Big Tracks or Bone Yard. Mix does play new stuff so perhaps that would work. As soon as it's available over here I will request it on all three stations.

Bone Yard??? They play hair bands. Big Tracks is for rock hits, but they do play some Queen. Hmmm.....
Big Tracks is stuck in the 80s - I can't see them playing anything post 2000 (and as I write this, Journey is playing on Big Tracks)
I can see Deep Tracks or Bone Yard, but I never listen to either station for long to really know what they play.

I can't wait for the album or the single to be released here!!! And as usual, I'm gonna be the only one in my school to be excited and celebrate all by myself... :(

A DJ friend of mine has heard the song recently and thought it wasn't bad but noted that a good deal of radio DJs have not, so far anyway, shown any great deal of interest in wanting to play it.

I would imagine most have no idea it's even coming out. I will be requesting it on local radio here as soon as it comes out.
So the question now is: In North America is Hollwood records waiting for the digital release in September before promoting to radio? Does rock radio have it already? Will it be released to radio 1 to 2 weeks prior? Will Hollywood or anyone lets us know this or is it some big secret?
I would love to know when to call the station as opposed to just doing it now if they don't even have it.
