Hi Richard,
sorry to insist on this, but editing and uploading file doesn't work for me.
the "Sorry" there has ..." message still appearing
As no one is mentioning it in recent posts, I wonder if it is only me or if you're totally aware of this problem?
Many tks for yr help and work

now I'm at my office using Internet Explorer 6.0; at home I normally use IE, same version I guess.
Yesterday I also tried Firefox at home and it didn't work.
the "edit" option worked fine some weeks ago, but now doesn't.
And when trying to edit any of your posts/threads, the window where you could edit the thread's title has disappeared
In addition, if you want to upload a file, the post appears blank, w/o the file.
many tks for checking this, Richard

hi,
Are you able to edit messages at all - and just don't get the option to change the title / upload file?
Or, are you not able to edit the text either?
Richard
hi,
Can you have another go?
I have done quite a few little fixes, so hopefully it will work now...
You can add attachments to reply's - and they do show up now. You cannot upload a new attachment when you are editing though....
Richard
Hi Richard,
uploading file in new reply works now. Fine!
But simply editing the text of any past post(w/o uploading file) still doesn't; same happens with editing the thread's title (the window wich used to show the title does not appear)
many many tks for yr work & help!
when you try to edit the post, are you getting an error page? What are you showing?
If you aren't logged on, you will be redirected to the login page.
Richard
every time I try to edit the post I get the usual:
"Sorry! There has been a website error
Sorry there has been a problem with the website. We will look at this as soon as possible."
what do you mean "if you aren't logged on"?
I'm logged when trying editing
damn ... no, it doesn't work at all. Recent posts can be edited; but older ones cannot.
ie: link
what I want to do is modify the first post; update the info regarding wich new files have been added, so anyone taking a look at the first page of the thread can check wich are the recent files added in the last pages.
I was able to do that, including modification of the thread title, before all the problems occured.
If you can fix it, great ... but if it is too much, don't worry man, I will survive !
many tks
