For those who are going to watch this movie, and expecting a heart warming story about robots in love... you're going to get that and more.
Expect a huge environmental wake up call.
Aside from that it's a fun movie to watch. I loved every minute of it.
I thought it was excellent. The story was so sweet, and the animation, of course, was amazing. It still doesn't beat out Toy Story for me, but it is up there with Finding Nemo, I'd say. :-)
It was really good, although I don't understand the nearly universal acclaim for it. I'd also prefer less social commentary in a Pixar film. We're all going to be fat and lazy while killing the planet, how original. The ironic "consumerism is bad" message in an entirely consumerist work is fun to note, though.

But that's the way we are heading at. I don't know about the rest of the world, but here in America that's the sad reality.
Just look at drive-thrus. We have become so fat and lazy that fast food services are willing to accommodate people to not even make a minimal effort to park the car, walk to McDonalds, and get food. That considering that it's the kinda of food that's making us even fatter.
