Does anybody think theres any chance of Don't stop me now being included on the setlist later in the year. Its always been one of my favourites and I've got some great memories that I associate with the song. Not entirely sure it would suit Pauls voice but you never know. I wonder with it being used in the cadbury advert and being voted best driving song by top gear last year if its current high public profile(as far as Queen songs are concerned) will temp them into including it on the set?
I'll eat my ticket if DSTM is on the setlist!
There's NO WAY PR is gonna sing that with any justice
Also, accoring to BBC Top Gear, Brian hates the song (- winner best driving song episode if youtube's your thing)
Yea you're probably right, didn't know Bri hated it(I love it). I could imagine Paul doing well with the intro part but can't really visualise him managing the main body of the song, not to be critical of his vocal ability but I guess its just not his style. I wonder if Roger would fancy it? I just thiught with its current popularity that it might get an outing this time round. Having said all that if Dr. May hates it then its got no chance. Shame!!! Thanks for the response anyway.
Yes the chocolate eggs etc. Any thoughts on it being included in the set? The song that is not the chocolate eggs, although Roger looks like he's no stranger to a chocolate egg or two these days!!!
I quite like the live killers version, Bri manages ti squeeze some guitar into on there. Shame he doesn't like it, I think its one of those great uplifting songs.Ever notice if you're at a wedding/xmas party etc that its one of those songs that gets everyone up on the floor? Having said that so does the proclaimers I suppose. Still, I think it would be nice to hear it on tour again.
Its a shame you've never been to a wedding/party where its been played,I been to lots. Its normally in a wee set with sweet child o mine and summer of 69, always gets a great response where I'm from(Ireland).
I also think it would bw fab if they introduced Its Late into the set list, I reckon PR would do a fine job with it or even I can't live with you.
