John, I see you posting here and I have question: Do you own the transcription disc of the Hyde Park 1976 show? Which Capitol Radio broadcast at the time? Just really curious.

No; I do not. Furthermore, I do not know anyone who has.
I have tried to track down one of these for over 30 years, and I have never come across one.
I think this is one of those urban myths that has been allowed to grow over the years.
I certainly know 'Capitol' insiders - and they assure me that it was NEVER transcribed onto disc, - and they do not know where this rumour began either.
So apart from reading about this 'Holy Grail', I have never found anyone who could confirm its existence.

In 2005 Planet Rock (online radio station), wanted to broadcast Hyde Park too, from the original mastertapes (those were given by the band). It never happened. I mailed them about this, but they never replied.
