teststs
hi,
If you want an avatar, there is a section in your profile that allows you to upload and set them: link
If you don't want to see other people's avatar, there is a settings section to do this as well. It will also let you change a few other things: link
Please let me know how you get on.
Rich
this is probably my bad - about the resizing. I will make it not resize a picture larger than the maximum.
thanks for the feedback - it is hard "testing" stuff yourself.

Thank you for the avatar feature, Richard. It's working perfectly fine for me and I love it.
EDIT: It WAS working fine until I posted this. Now someone else's avatar (Woodie's) is where mine should be. :-(
EDIT 2: Well... I just uploaded a different photo and for the moment it's working... but my original upload is gone (from my avatar upload page) and Woodie's is in its place.
Hmmm...okay, I just read this topic, and I see that someone else has experienced what I'm experiencing. And avatar that is not mine. So I guess I'll try to change it.
ETA: It worked, althought I now have two avatars in my "files."
Well Erin has a photo of my as her avator and when I came online, my photo was someone else's avatar! It's like the third time I had to re-upload my photo!!!

I knew I should have waited before I tried this avatar thing out.
It's the law of attraction at work, possibly. From what I've read, it is helpful to try to visualize your perfect avatar and think only positive thoughts, if you can.
Ok, this is actually a cool feature, but they're constantly changing. As I remember this used to happen with profile pics as well. A delete button would be great. :)
Now that I feel very Brooks-ish today, I'll go listen to Victory and the full version of FIA; and later I'll be sewing on some Queen patches if you don't mind.
