In fact, I prefer this DVD version to the later releases because even though I do own a widescreen television, the videos on this disc are all uncropped original aspect ratio.
So Bohemian Rhapsody is reproduced at the correct 4x3 ratio, wherein Freddie's head is not chopped-off at the brow.
Also included is the original video version of 'Fat-Bottomed Girls' - rather than the cut and paste mud-wrestling of the new 'Greatest Flix'
The sound is stereo only, but is still excellent when played through the television or good amplifier system.
For me the 'Ultimate version' would be these older videos set to the newer 5.1 soundtrack. Nevertheless, this is a good addition to any collection.
Some sellers are still looking insane amounts for Queen stuff even though the arse fell out of the market some time ago. And if the current depression in the British (and world) economy continues, I would guess a lot of Queen memorabilia will soon be more valuable as firewood than anything else.
