Here are the links :- Part 1 - link Part 2 - link Part 3 - link Due to the great upload by Sir GH, I remembered that I have an old VHS of the complete gig, I have found my old tape of Milton Keynes which has Interviews with Fans & Band along with the complete un-edited build up of the gig. Here is the problem - There are obviously several split second pieces that appear on the Queen on fire along with the flash intro soundtrack !, If I promise to cut short of the concert does anyone have any objections to me uploading ? - I fully respect the fact that the few seconds of this are official though. Cheers ! |

Just post it,and if anyone complains blame me! |
Rick 09.06.2008 13:45 |
Yes, just upload it. I also have some VHS tapes with Queen footage. Also a very blurry and black-white live show (read: terrible quality) from '82 with music dubbed from the Hot Space album. Well I think it's '82 since it has Hot Space music played. I always though it was quite strange. Can anyone confirm what it might be? I also have a tape labelled as New York 1977, but I recall that being Montreal 1977. Maybe I need to convert them to DVDs one day :P |

Have a look at the info on my website to see if it matches yours. Is Freddie wearing the striped top? |

BTW Sir GH I found your site very interesting so as to label some videos I didn't know where they belong to but at the end of the page you listed as official videos 15-05-85 in Tokyo where it should be the 11th show. |

Great upload Jon. |

I can't believe I made that error. Of all the amateur mistakes...! Thanks for pointing it out. Glad you dug the site. |

SirGH / Rick - are you guys talking about this : link ? |
Rick 10.06.2008 03:05 |
I can't recall it having colours. I shall take a look at the tapes very soon. I also have Hyde Park '76 on VHS, with better sound than the QTV version, if I remember well. |
pittrek 10.06.2008 03:18 |
Well if you have a better-than-QTV version of Hyde Park, you know who's interested :-) |
on my way up 10.06.2008 06:27 |
Sir GHI can't believe it either!:-) But after including Leeds '82 in your top 10 I forgive you anything:-) I just love that show and Back chat, I'll never get tired of that version. The agression of this show makes it totally unique(the entire band giving their all, freddie is so passionate and he sounds dangerous, just like Brian, at least in my mind:-). brian said the Who is his favourite live band and this show was in leeds where the who recorded their legendary live album and Brian said this show in Leeds was his favourite Queen show... It all makes sense!:-) |

I have it too. It's 9 min. long professional recording without original audio from that show. My version have music from some songs: Staying Power, Love Of My Life (piano version), Brighton Rock, We Will Rock You (slow version), We Are The Champions and God Save The Queen. All songs are studio versions. Sorry for my bad english. |
The Real Wizard 10.06.2008 12:55 |
You're right, it is a professional recording, as there are at least two camera angles. Is this what you have, Rick? |
Rick 10.06.2008 14:58 |
I don't have time for it now. Will go through it later (just a few weeks away from summer break)Although I remember Staying Power being played, so yes a good chance it might be Boblingen/Stuttgart. |

thanks for video Rick please post your video on vhs don't warry if are in poor conditions |
Rick 16.06.2008 15:46 |
Hehe, I first need to convert them to DVD, which takes some time. I found my conversion of the Hyde Park video. So I have it on DVD. It has nice colours and the sound is quite good actually (still the horrible mix). It's not as clear as the QTV version. Although I think this version has already been shared here. My internet connection is not the greatest, so if anybody is interested, I need to copy the DVD and send to someone who can upload it. I will make some screenshots soon. |
Freddie81 18.06.2008 06:39 |
ok :) |
Rick 19.06.2008 13:25 |
Well I checked the tapes...and I'm disappointed. What's on it is all available in far more better quality. On one tape I have: Japan 75/79/82/85 (plus some interviews, one with Christopher Lambert about working together with Queen f.e.) And the other contains Buenos Aires 81/Montreal 77/Boblingen/Stuttgart 82 (my version is just b&w, really bad quality, announced as the "Queen Live Show '82") I also have the original broadcast of the Tribute Concert & Live Aid. Plus some documentaries/reports about Freddie and his passing. Nothing new under the sun, I'm afraid... |
pittrek 19.06.2008 13:39 |
What's the quality of your Japan 75 ? |
The Real Wizard 19.06.2008 15:00 |
Buenos Aires 81... is this the long video from the second night, or the minute of Dust from the first night, with Freddie in the Argentinian football jersey? |
Rick 19.06.2008 16:55 |
Japan 75 has bad colours, not clear, strange stripes and stuff. A better version is available. Trust me. It's the long version, Bob. In crappy quality. |
The Real Wizard 20.06.2008 10:56 |
Boo.... ok, thanks for the info. |

Rick wrote: Japan 75 has bad colours, not clear, strange stripes and stuff. A better version is available. Trust me. It's the long version, Bob. In crappy quality. That's bad, I have created a color-corrected version of Japan 75, but the indoor parts are terribly dark and the outdoor parts terribly bright, so I'm still looking for a better version, preferably the original NTSC pre-VHS version |
