Roy, thanks a million. I haven't stopped listening to this one since you shared it here. It's one of the greatest Queen live performances I have ever listented to. One of the very greatest, it's just absolutely incredible and amazing, especially because of Freddie and Roger. I don't think I had ever heard Queen sounding so good live. Not even in Hammy' 79, because there Freddie is sheer genius but the band is ok; here the band is on fire and Freddie is more than sheer genius, he's like, you know, he puts other singers back into their place, no doubt. Man, this was never officially released. The setlist is perfect: Mustapha, Death on Two Legs (maybe the best live performance of this song is given in this concert, Freddie's vocals are beyond belief), and all kinds of songs who never made it into official live releases. So, this one, yes, it's well worth a remastering, a good one, and an official release. I tell you, because if we don't give feedback to other users, they may pass over the good shares. DON'T MISS THIS ONE. IT'S ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. "Let Me Entertain You" is done just like in the recording - it's impressive what Roger and Freddie do, they like make that very powerful song become real, onstage, taking all the risks of the original version. THIS one is A KILLER! Thanks a million! |

Yara, you're absolutely right. I've listened to this recording twice in a row yesterday and I ha the same impression. Freddie is in a very playful mood, maybe he was high ...? He tries a lot of extravaganzas, e.g. Killer Queen is very special. LMEY, DOTL, NIH, CLTCL and especially WATC are outstanding. Brians playing is fantastic in my opinion, though I'm no guitar expert. Does anybody know why the sound quality differs so much, sometimes there are cuts and quality changes within one song? Seems like it's a compilation of 2 or more sources. Strange and at the same time funny is how Freddie insults the audience. His language is very rude at times. Even a compliment sounds like an insult. He often did this at concerts in the UK, maybe he felt more self-confident there? |

This is the only version that seems to have circulated. |
