According to a post on Taringa.net Q+PR are to play Argentina the 22nd and 23rd of November. Here is the original post: Señores me hice miembro de Taringa exclusivamente para comunicar esta noticia, la cual, es semi desconocida para la gran mayoria de fanaticos de . No voy a expresar aca mis sentimientos ni mucho menos. Solo quiero que toda esa gente que ama o amo a QUEEN a Freddie, Brian, Roger y John, sepan que el 22 y 23 de Noviembre Queen (Brian May y Roger Taylor) junto a Paul Rodgers vienen a nuestro pais. 27 años despues de nuevo aca. Dice algo asi como que la gira empieza en septiembre (sale un nuevo disco con la voz de Paul en varios temas "The Cosmos Rock" creo) en Europa y termina a fin de año en sudamerica incluyendo a Argentina (se sabia desde hace un tiempito que tambien tocaran en Brasil). Yes, I think that this is true. According to an inofficial but very reliable source Queen + PR play in the Estadio Velez Sarsfield in Buenos Aires two nights on November 21st and 22nd (maybe 22nd and 23rd is correct, not sure about that.) There is also unconfirmed information about a concert in Santiago, Chile in the Estadio Nacional and another concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil before the free concert in Rio on November 30th. Hopefully, there will be even more dates in South America. Let's keep our fingers crossed for the faithful fans in South Anmerica. |

That's the news I had... but well, I hope they can come to my country... The problem is where... Lately Estadio Nacional haven't been borrowed for concerts, because they prefer to keep the grass in perfect condition. |

They should come to see us all! We all love them so much. And Argentina, it has been such an important country in Queen's career, so it'd be really sad if they didn't go there, but if they do come to Brazil (I can't barely believe they're coming, I think I'll have heart issues and will be unable to attend the gig!!!), well, people from Chile and Argentina could come in and we'd like make a huge reception for them, and the other way around too - I hope they go to all countries, though, Chile, Argentina and Brazil, so close to each other, well. Asi como me hice miembro de taringa para anunciar la noticia, debido a la repercucion en esta pagina me vi obligado a hacerme miembro tambien. Lo que dije no es ninguna mentira. Ya se venia comentando hace 1 año. En el 2007 debido a la carrera universitaria, Brian pospuso todo. El 22 y 23 de Noviembre vienen a la Argentina. Hasta el mismo Brian dijo que el show del dia 23 va a tener un grado de emotividad muy alto (ya sabemos porque). No lo digo yo solo, en la pagina de Brian habia aparecido un comentario en el que decia que aprovechando la presentacion en Brasil por el concierto 46664 del dia 30 de Nov podian visitar nuestro pais. Finalmente lo confirmo, el audio es totalmente autentico. Ya lo anunciaron ademas en Rock and Pop, Kabul y Aspen (radios de primer nivel que se limitaron a decir que: "Queen confirmo su visita a la Argentina para fin de este año")... Amigos, yo aca les doy las fechas y el lugar 22 y 23 de Noviembre en la cancha de Velez. Acuerdense de mi cuando esten viviendo ese sueño que para muchos como yo, significa ver a Brian y a Roger. I think it's safe to get excited about Buenos Aires :) Other news have it that there will be two concerts in Sao Paulo, Brazil in November although neither dates nor venue are confirmed yet. The concerts will probably take place around November 27/28 but we are not sure about the correct dates. |

Hello to all. I hope they include Mexico this time. I remember reading about November-December dates in "LATIN America" (not SOUTH America), so this should include dates in Mexico or I'll be very disappointed. There is no way I can travel to Europe this time (full time job) and the same applies for Argentina or Brazil. In the past couple of years artists like U2, The Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, Guns and Roses, The Police and The Smashing Pumpkins have made 2 to 3 dates in Mexico. Everybody else does it! Why can't Queen do it now? It is one of the biggest markets in Latin America, if not the biggest. I'm still hoping for early December dates in Mexico. Maybe even mid November, before South America (fingers crossed). |

1981 is in the past. Now Mexico is considered for almost every international artist or band to play 2 or 3 dates as Wiley said, and not only in Mexico City, Guadalajara or Monterrey. Last year Scorpions play in cities sucha as Leon and Hermosillo during their tour in Mexico. There are a lot of fans that would love to hear Queen in Mexico and we have now incredible venues like the Arena Monterrey, VFG Arena in Guadalajara, the Poliforum in Leon, the National Auditorium, the Sport Palace or the Foro Sol in Mexico City and many more, so, I think that Queen should consider Mexico in their plans. I hope I can see them here if not in December, maybe next year in a whole Latinamerican Tour. Saludos. Rafael. |

I don't think there is another Latin America tour after Christmas. I also don't believe that the band bears any grudge to Mexican fans because of 1981. It's all a matter of finding a promoter who makes a good offer. If there is no big venue, no sponsor and no money to make, the band won't come, it's that easy, sad but true. There are talks about a third leg of the tour after Christmas. If the 3rd leg is the USA, there might be another chance for Mexico - if there is a promoter with a good offer. Fingers crossed for the Mexican fans. |

Those are very bad news, as I plan to go to these gigs, appart from those in my country (Brazil). Let us hope it all turns out fine. Queen are still huge in South America. Only yesterday I was at a popular (religious) party and all of the sudden they announced Freddie Mercury was in the house and insisted to sing. The band then mimed the Karaoke version of IWTBF and AKOM, while some guy sung it very well, even though he didn't have a clue of the English language (this is common here). About one thousand people were there and everybody had a smile in their faces, tapped in the tables, hummed the songs and even danced. I DO hope QPR comes and sees all of this down here. El 22 saldria a la venta las entradas para el show del 21/11 no?? Que hay del show del 22/11??? xq a mi vendria mejor ir ese dia, y supuestamente lo agregan una vez q se agotan las del 1º show.
