I was asked to provide mediafire links for this concert, and here they are. Now, let me first stress that who originally shared this one here was OLIVIER RUTH through rapidshare, AND THE LINKS ARE STILL WORKING. Just do a search for "montreal continental", and you'll certainly find it. Short after, user GINGER01 made a torrent file of this one - you can also find it through the search engine - and now, I'm uploading it to mediafire so there's no excuse not to download these in good, lossless quality. Hahaha. :-)) Ok? Enjoy, the concert doesn't need more info than what had been already provided by Olivier and SirGH.
So THANKS A LOT TO OLIVIER AND GINGER01 AND SIRGH. [bowing to these three most distinguished users], and also to JOSEDEQUESO, most helpful user who provided further info on the concert and helped Olivier sharing this one. I should add that one of my favorite Queen concerts, the one in Vienna, 1982, was shared here by JOSEDEQUESO. SO...THANKS JOSEDEQUESO (Yara pulling Josedequeso's hairs off).

For info about this gig, follow these links : link link
and watch out Bob's website, link, the Jazz tour will be the next to be added !
Comments : 24th gig from the Jazz Tour in USA and Canada. Freddie's voice was quite exhausted !
Fat Bottomed Girls was the last Queen single at the time, as Freddie said during the concert.
And I'm quoting Queenonstage here :
"This was the first bootleg cd out from this concert. From US & Canada 'JAZZ' tour.
Nice 2cd, only tricky thing is that a 'handclap' noise can be heard to clearly between
some of the songs. Photos on cover is from 86 & 85."
Artwork is included in the last archive file here (with this info.txt file).
Not that the format is not an usual CD box, the front is 11,9 cm x 13,8 cm, with nothing on the back.
The back is in fact a 4 page mini booklet, with Freddie image apparent on the back, each image 12 cm x 11,8 cm..
The box is a 2cd box in unusual format, with a flip in it containing the 2 cds, pivoting to let us pick and open the mini booklet on the back. Well, that's how I received my copy !
Note too that '39 was not listed on the 1st CD, but in fact it is here. I haven't added anything.
And, also in this last archive, you can find something, not really a review (if someone wishes to contribute,
feel free to !), but a list of What was said during the concert, between songs.
Freddie & Brian spoke french at some moments. A big thank you to Josedequeso for his help on that !!
Here is the artwork, info file and Word document with the words said by the band.
Now good download everyone !!!

Olivier,

In your thanks, just add Josedequeso who kindly helped me completing the Word file with the words said by the band to the audience between songs (you can find it in the archives). He was very kind helping me in this project, but unfortunately I can't find some time enough to continue with other gigs/bootlegs. I would have found it helpful to know what can't always be clearly heard by non-native english talkers, and it would have been quite helpful to identify a show too, but hey...
So, if you hear (read) me, thanks Josedequeso for your kind help !
Regards,
Olivier,
France.
Thanks very much for this.
It's Late -- my god, what a great song. Even with Fred not on top form, this is awesome. Such a shame they dropped it from later shows, although I understand why.
Bo Alex: our dear SirGH came to rescue us. If it comes from the...well...you read his post. Hahahaha.
THANKS ALEX FOR ASKING (IT HELPS!) AND, OF COURSE, SIRGH, FOR COMING TO RESCURE US.
[bowing and asking to leave the knight's chamber]
;-)
It was a typo, but I think it can stay like that "res-cure" us. lol Healing the recording and giving us the right info!
:-) Thanks again guys, you're great.
Yes, this one comes from the silvers directly, so speed has not been corrected. I have not learned to do that already, but it will be my next lessons !
i already know that, to hear if a show is at a correct speed, we just have to listen to the Boh Rhap opera section, it's a good reference. For the rest, I have not searched how to adjust the speed if necessary already, due to lack of time, and because I had to learn some other things in other fields first. I'm nothing of a sound engineer, I still have much to learn !
As soon as I learn that, I will share this one with speed corrected, but if someone beats me, then no problem !
Regards,
Olivier,
France.
