I can't identify the difference between a gap and a glitch xD That's why I contacted you ;)

I don' t know if the hiss depends from the fact that tapes are cheap ones, or maybe it' s just that they are 24 years old. I made the transfer this way: from tape (TECHNICS deck, old but good) to CD-RW (PHILIPS cd recorder) and then to my PC for the usual editing with CD WAVE. I don' t know if I have done everything in the best possible way: if any of you is interested, I can send him my tapes so he can try another transfer: just let me know !!!
