I'm new here, but not a new Queen fan.I'm from denmark, and I'm in a Queen copy band.I've have been thinking quit a while, doesent taylor produces a drumstick with his name on,that you can buy?
There have been ' Queen plus Paul Rodgers" drumsticks on sale at the shows and in specialised musicshops.
But if you actually want to use them...
They are of 'merchandise'-quality.
Sadly there is not a Roger Signature Series drumstick, but you can buy WWRY The Musical or Q&PR Commemorative Tour sticks from the Queen Online Shop. They are intended though to collect, and not play with (although they are normal sticks).
Roger uses Vic Firth sticks - I have a pair at home that his drum tec gave to me after the UK Music Hall Of Fame gig last year - I think they are just a standard 5B size stick but with his autograph printed on.

I bet he didn't!!! :)
By Signature Series stick, I mean that some artists have a custom model released by the manufacturer which can be bought retail, and is custom built to their size and weight requirements, and carries their signature, logo, picture etc..
Roger has no such stick available (shame, and I don't know why), but he simply has his signature printed on a standard stick by Vic Firth (I can think of no-reason othere than ego or his standing as a top level pro) and at least they can say in their marketing blurb that he uses their sticks
I'm sorry. What I meant to say was that Roger had to pay someone to put his name on them, as opposed to say the Bruford Signature stick. There are quite a few companies that do that printing in bulk... Kinda like the Brian May pick. There's not a "signature" pick, Brian has them custom made for probably .07 cents and they turn up on ebay for $10.

The first set of drumsticks I had and broke were Vic Firths... they SUCK... or at least the ones I had did... I think I went through three pairs before my brother decided I needed to try another brand...
