Hi,
I manage a large bar/club on Sauchiehall St in Glasgow, and I was thinking of having a pre gig Queen themed night before and after the SECC gig on 11th October.
Are there any Glasgow or Scottish Qzoners - or anyone for that matter who is going to this gig - who'd be interested and think this may be a good idea?
I'm a massive fan and have always wanted to try this in my club... we play strictly rock and indie, both old and new... and our punters have strict standards when it comes to what gets played... no pop or hiphop stuff allowed!!! A lot of Bowie, Beatles, Kinks, Clash, Stones etc etc (Queen beats them all hands down obviously).
Just like to know if there would be a demand! I may make it earlier on in the week and hire a decent tribute act as well?
Suggestions much appreciated?
Take a look at our bebo and myspace... link link
Matt
Certainly,
I'll need to get a second name though and how many guests you're bringing.
I'll not be there tonight, as it's my holiday week, but i'll call in your details. The Bowie gig wont go ahead to quite late on mate, prob after 11pm. Lets the place get nice and busy first.
Hope you enjoy it, they're excellent.
...Actually i just seen the link to your youtube, so I'm guessing this is your real name.
I've put you down as S R plus 2 guests mate.
If it's before 9.30pm you'll not need to use Guest List anyway, after you will.
PS... Over 18s only obviously for your guests mate.
Hey Phoenix,
Thanks for the guest list man. I was in before 9.30 and had a great night, thats a great bar/ club you've got there. The Bowie tribute was fab and Underpressure was played.
Any Queenzoners going to the Glasgow gig, then get there for the warm up/ meeting place.
Cheers Phoenix.....
