Here is a link to the ugly photo: link.
Feel free to upload a new one. I tried to add a nice one a while back, but some crazy dude removed it for no apparent reason.
At bare minimum, you should start a discussion about this on the talk page. As long as several people all work together, there is no reason for why the ugly photo must stay there. Copyrighted things are fine as long as you eventually add something called a Fair use tag. Maybe you can find something nice. Just make sure that you can identify it.
Save the image as .gif or .jpg. Then use this page to upload: link. Just don't waste too much of your time.
I have a great rare photo of him which I bought on eBay four years ago, of Freddie in July of 1991 while in Montreux by the lake... and Peter Freestone is standing next to him in the photo. I didn't take the photo, but it's a great photo, he's wearing sunglasses and has a beard and a white button shirt while wearing grey dress pants. The only problem is that he looks TOO THIN, but he looks happy at least. I don't know how to upload it to wikipedia though.
I also have another one of him in London in January of 1989, and I bought that photo of him on eBay too, but it's a paparattzi photo.
I also got a cool one of him in 1982 wearing a jogging clothes (orange and white).
Hi Everyone,
I see that some asshole went and changed the photo back to the ugly one again. This kind of thing has happened to me and several others. This is why it is not really worth your time.
Maybe we should vote to not have a photo at all. That might be a nice compromise here.
Jake, you might want to try your photo.
Here are the instructions. Go to link. Click on the "edit" page and look at the image file that is there. I think that it says something like "Freddie1984.jpg." Erase it.
To put up something new, save the image as .gif or .jpg. Then use this page to upload: link.
I've seen MUCH worse pictures than that. Now, if someone put up that tabloid picture where he looks like Count Chocula, I could see where everyone was coming from.

What? LOL Which pic is that?
I think he's talking about that paparattzi photo of the side of his face where he's covered with lesions and he's so thin that his teeth look like he's going to bite someone.
Now that I really read this thing, doesn't it seem like whomever wrote this, put a lot of thought into criticizing him about the disease, his ethnic background and his religion.

I've got a really good question though... I DO have original photographs of Freddie, but, would I be able to upload them if I wasn't the photographer? Would it break the rules? None of the photos I listed are true. I do however have an original photo of Freddie from 1990, and an original photo of him in 1991, as well as some original ones in the early 80s.
Would I break the rules if I uploaded one of these photos?
Hi Jacob,
If you have original photos, then get them up there! Freddie would really appreciate this. By the way, yet another option is simply to vote to remove ALL photos. Go to the Talk Page to vote on this.
