I think you are getting mixed up with "New York" (from the Freddie box set - remixed by Smash link ) which is a completely different song and "New York, New York" - the old song made famous by Frank Sinatra which Freddie sings in the film. The complete version of the latter one doesnt exist.

That is the same song. Smash used that and remixed it using bits of Brian on guitar (from Spread Your Wings) and a kind of techno beat with some Ga Ga style keyboards. Also he changed the name to New York At Last.
