Hey there,
as promised here are the CD 2 and CD 3 from the "Live and Alive" labelled bootleg "Live USA"
The following songs belong mostly to the 1st night in Fukuoka (19.10.1982). Like Sir GH wrote in another thread some of them come also from the 2nd night (20.10.1982).
Lineage: silver --> wav (EAC)---> Flac level 8 (TLH)
The songs are:
CD 2:
Flash (intro)*
We Will Rock You*
Play The Game*
Calling All Girls*
Body Language*
Under Pressure*
Bohemian Rhapsody*
Another One Bites The Dust*
We Are The Champions*
God Save The Queen*
Somebody To Love link link link
* Sir GH wrote these songs belong to the 2nd night
other sources say all songs belong to the 1st night.
CD 3:
Now I'm Here
Put Out The Fire
Dragon Attack
Love Of My Life
Save Me
Back Chat
Fat Bottomed Girls
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Saturday Night's Allright For Fighting
Tie Your Mother Down link link link
facts about CD 1:
This disc contains songs from the Seattle-Gig in 1977, except one song. This song is labelled "Action This Day" but is "Calling All Girls" again.
@pittrek:
so I hope you have everything you need for the mix from different sources
Thank you very much, Pittrek, Double-U and SirGH. I downloaded the "hot space" bootleg yesterday (fourth night from Fukuoka) and not only the sound quality, but also the performance is really good, though Freddie's voice is pretty much exhausted because - I don't know - it must have been the end of the tour. That's when things get most interesting... :-))))) I love it.
Well, thank you, again. If you want and time allows, Double-U, give us your thoughts on these. I'm still trying to decide which download will be my next - I guess Portland 74, I got pretty much interested in that one, part of the Pittrek's best of the best series.
Today I'm a little bit sensitive and moved. I did manage to make my first seed, I...I...created the first torrent in my life...it's just...I have to stop.

I'll bet you any money that those "other sources" didn't even listen to the recordings to compare them.
Even with minimal investigation (i.e. not even listening to anything), the first few Live USA vol.2 tracks (at least) can't be from 10-19-82 because on the first night they opened with Rock It. On this recording they played The Hero. Queen opened with Rock It in Nagoya and Sapporo, and these recordings don't match. Therefore, by process of elimination, it must be Fukuoka 10-20-82, unless there is a seventh Japanese '82 concert that no sources have ever documented.
To add to this share, here's Calling All Girls from 10-19-82, off the first Live USA bootleg (although it's labelled as Action This Day on the CD): link
Furthermore, this version doesn't match the one shared here from disc 2.
All of these tracks in this topic are a pre-LP source... so somewhere (probably in Japan), the raw unedited recordings probably exist.
Thank you.
Can anybody clarify something? because I don't understadn
1. Which songs comes from 19/10/1982?
2. Which songs comes from 20/10/1982?
It's just to create 2 separate folders with both concerts... It's just for my own order.

These 3 songs on Live USA volume 2 are the same as those on side 5 of the Hot Space Tour '82 3-LP - but we still don't know which night they're actually from.
Here's my take on these bootlegs:
a) the two nights in question are Fukuoka Oct 19/20, with the bulk of material having been labelled as Oct 19. The fact that this material is from two nights definitely can't be debated because there are two different versions of a few songs (WWRY fast, Calling All Girls, Body Language, Under Pressure, BoRhap), and also two different opening songs: Rock It on one night and The Hero on the other.
b) the first seven tracks on Live USA volume 2 are better-sounding but musically identical to the ones tagged onto the end of the Hot Space Tour '82 LP. They are presumably from the second night.
c) Dust/WWRY/Champions/GSTQ on Hot Space Tour '82 and Dust/Champions/GSTQ on Live USA volume 2 could be from either night. But judging by the notes on the oldest bootleg, Hot Space Tour '82 (link, I'm inclined to believe they're from the second night. This bootleg was released in 1983, so the tapes were pretty new. Sure, they were wrongly labelled as Los Angeles, but they probably at least had different dates on them, hence the different dates given on the LP sleeve.
We won't get any more concrete answers unless pre-LP/pre-silver tapes come out, though.
Any other input from anyone?
I just had a proper listen of "Hot Space Tour" and guess what - CD 1 + CD 2 are together approx. 90 min long. Also after Tie Your Mother Down you can here a "hard cut", like the recorder (the person :) ) would press the stop button and "speeding" the tape for a couple of miliseconds.
Also Another One Bites The Dust sounds recorded from more further, or are my ears playing tricks with me ?
So theory 1 :
The guy who recorded this recorded this on a 90 min tape, after Tie Your Mother Down he stopped his "recording device" and after a while he wanted to go home, but suddenly the band returned to the stage, so he quickly took another tape from his pocket, put it into the recorder and recorded the rest of the show. Sounds slightly crazy, doesn't it ? :-)
Theory number 2 :
The end comes from another show, some "collector" wasn't satisfied that he has 2 incomplete recordings, so (s)he created a 2 nights compilation, which was bootleged.
What do you think ? Both theories sound crazy :-)
Both theories are very possible!
We just need to note that complete tapes of both shows probably exist (as we know Flash~BoRhap exists from the second night, and Flash~TYMD for the first night, at least). The bootleggers consistently only used the same bits of material and are probably hoarding the rest.
It's also worth noting that the Live USA people got pre-LP tapes, and they chose not to use anything new on their releases in the early 90s. Either that, or that's all the material they actually received... but I somehow doubt that. Ah, the things we'll probably never know!
