Every country has good and bad comedy. Ricky Gervais and Sasha Baron Cohen are without a doubt the funniest Brits right now.

I could say the same thing the other way around. I've heard a lot of great things about 'Monty Python', but in all honesty it's so hard for me to find it funny. Every country has good and bad comedy. Ricky Gervais and Sasha Baron Cohen are without a doubt the funniest Brits right now.

link I think this is what you mean. Hilarious, one of my favourite MP sketches. Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler are crap, I agree. I do like Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller, though. Ooh, and Owen Wilson. But I guess they're more comic actors than comedians. White comedians are far funnier, imo. Frankie Boyle and Russell Howard are proof of the wealth of talent on the British comedy scene.
