The press release says there will be one cover version on the QPR album.
Any guesses?
I reckon it could well be Reaching out by Rock Therapy.
Whaddaya reckon?
I'm still wondering if they're being cheeky when they say "cover version," and have actually laid down a studio version of the slow/fast "Hammer to Fall."
I wouldn't be surprised by Rainbow's "Since You've Been Gone," either, as Brian played it during his solo tours.
Judging by Brian's recent protests against the slaughtering of whales, I can say with absolute certainty that it will be a cover of Yes's 1978 single 'Don't Kill The Whale'.

On a similar note actually. I have it on good authority that another track from the album will be called "Hebridean Hedgehog Killer".
I hope its "Red House."
Somebody decided to blab and put in the Wikipedia article about the album, and say that the cover for the album is going to be "Fat Bottomed Girls." Allegedly the source is within EMI that's saying that. I call bullshit on it though.

oh the ones I'd like to hear..
Sweet Transvestite - Rocky Horror
Time - Pink Floyd
Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who
Happiness Is A Warm Gun - The Beatles
Big Balls - ACDC
I second 'Red House' for being the live version on their last 2006-concert.
(i guess c-lebrity doesn't count as a proper cover version for using a stolen riff ? :-D )
My wild guess is "South Park Theme", what could be better opening track? link
OK, maybe not, but it could be "Blame Canada" link
as a apology for C-lebrity
but I'm afraid it will actually be "Lose yourself" since they use it as opening in the last tour
Another wild guess
"No turning back" by Immortals
or even more likely candidate
"Picking up sounds" by Man Friday & Jive Junior
Why?
Just remember that Paul's former bandmates Simon Kirke (Free) and Mick Raphls (Bad Co) played in this track with Deacy
Both songs are written by Deacon, so it is perfect excuse for them to get Deacon name to the credits

Oh wow.
I had no idea Deacon made a recording with Kirke and Ralphs. Small world.
