I was checking Ticketmaster and Seetickets from 8.50 and actually got through to Ticketmaster by phone at 9.04.
They told me that all lower tier tickets had gone.
Absolute rubbish as at 9.00am you could only get upper tier and the O2 pre-sale is typically only about 2000 tickets.
The O2 pulled the same stunt for Prince, The Stones and Roger Waters.
There is no way they can have sold 10,000 lower tier tickets in the first 30 seconds (their site would have crashed) so my advice is keep trying as tickets quite often 'appear' during the course of the next few days.
AEG (the promotors at the O2) have got to be the worst distributers of tickets ever in the UK.

And cheaper thatn QOL (birmingham)
Yahoo !!
It's strange when they say it's sold out but then can buy tickets afterwards! Probably different agencies selling various tickets and reaching their allocation?

Itcould also be the fact that at 9-00 the site was too busy to process all the requests so some of the tickets have become available again.

Absolutely! I was 4th at the post office to get tickets... and haven't managed to get one! It was sold out in less than 2 minutes!
However I managed to get tickets for Antwerp and Hannover afterwards, so I'll be seeing QPR, but not in my own country.
Ticketmaster are bastards for thinking that gigs have sold out. I fell for the same trick last summer when I went to see Prince at the O2 doing his '21 nights'. You think that there are no tickets left and a couple of days and even on the day before each gig I would check the site. I got the best seats this way and although I was chuffed that I could print the tickets off and go, it was so unfair for people who have a long way to travel, book flights and have to book time off work etc. I reckon from September a few will become available. You'll see! ;)

That's the official promoters website, the link goes to the same (only) ticketservice website.
Rotterdam already sold out on pre-sales. They only added a couple of blocks of seats on the second ring with bad view on the day of public sale.

I got my ticket through Ticketmaster and was unaware of this!! When tickets are SOLD OUT it should mean that!! Deceptive and as you say unfair on people!!
