I wonder will "Bri" speak up on all this terrible customer service and ticket fiasco. He is quick to bemoan us on his blog when it comes to whales, moons and his musical. Lets hope he's just as outspoken when it comes to the crappy experience his fans are currently "enjoying". Roger and Brian should be monitoring this situation closely - this is their core business. I've been a Queen fan since about 1982 and (so far) I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling about the way the band are handling their business. Lets hope the album is put together in a sharper way than the tour was. John Deacon gets the "got out in time" award from me - thats for sure. |

I couldn't agree with you more about this! Maybe he'll be evasive or may deliberately avoid the subject altogether!! Being cynical about all this - Brian may only be concerned about the financial gain and how much money is made from ticket sales. I thing's for sure someone is going to get rich out of all this! That usually happens in these situations. It wouldn't be done to make a loss! |

A Queen fan since 1982? Does that mean Hot Space brought you into the fold? |

I'm pretty sure Brian doesn't know anything about this chaos - or he simply doesn't care. Gigs get postponed, orders cancelled etc. but in the end it's for them only "the QueenZone moaners who bitch all the time". I really think they don't give a damn. |

I have it on very good authority, that Brian is now fully aware of the issues surrounding the Pre-sale and he is livid. |

Either I missed it all or I was very lucky, I had no issues at all, got online early, no issues booking and got the confirmation email within minutes. I have see a few complaints here, but when you look it's really only a hand full of people and that will always happen for a number of reasons , often because the person doesn't read the instructions properly or simply has a bad connection. I am not saying that's what has happened here, but I have to say it all seemed very effective from my side. I was able to check the tickets via a blackberry at 9.00 and then again I was able to purchase them once I arrived at my office. The customer service has not been an issue at all, so I would be interested to hear what difficulties people have had other then getting online or not getting a confirmation email? I know a few dates where incorrect and a couple of prices where wrong but that's not a major grip surely... so long as it happens on just about every online vendor I can think of. SO what happen you you guys? |

Togg, i am sure that you like many had no problems, but quite a few of us did. I went online at 1pm start time, booked 2 seats for Liverpool and got an email from QOL to say my request had been receieved at 1.03pm.... i was chuffed to bits! 24 hrs later, i got an email from QOL to say my order had been cancelled due to a problem with my payment. Payment was taken by QOL from my bank account, but was then refunded by QOL, no explanation, other than advising they were dealing with thousands of transactions. Half an hour before 1pm start time, i had pre-ordered the new album and joined the Album Club, no problem with that purchase, so i fail to see how they could cock up my ticket order half an hour later. |

Booked my tickets for Liverpool at 12 o’clock could have booked them at 9 o’clock I booked them direct with Liverpool Echo arena they sent me a email first thing on Wednesday morning, with a pre-booking order code no problems even got a conformation email back with my invoice. Can still get them now but only upper level I got floor standing for me and my 3 kids, Last time I saw Queen in Liverpool was back in 1975 at the Empire, there was even a cock up with my ticket was double booked but was given a seat under Freddie’s spot light worker had a great view. So even then there was cock ups with tickets, still roll on October see you all there |

I don't think it's his duty to say something about it, but he could, since he used his soapbox for promoting the musical, QRM etc (i.e. for business). |

Apart from the fact that we all enjoy the music of Queen (and their other projects) this is a business venture for the band and Brian is one of the key business owners. If the 'customers' of that business are having a less than good experience the business owner is not only responsible but accountable for what has gone wrong and should speak out and try to ensure this kind of things does not happen again. From what I've heard from other places I believe Brian is actually very aware of this issue right now and will be posting something soon to respond to the screw ups. I think we all agree that Brian & Roger wouldnt wish for a lot of people to have to deal with all this mixup - its not good for the fans and its not good for the band. Hopefully somebody behind the scenes is getting a good talking to right now. |

If much of the problem has been payment issues then it could very well be an electronic banking issue and nothing to do with the folk at QOL. These things are very common particularly when you do large amounts in short spaces of time Sure there is also operator error as well, it is easy to input the wrong code, but if you have several thousand to do and you normally only have a few dozen a week it would not take a rocket scientist to work out that a few might go haywire. |

Yeah, what a horrible thing that a legendary rock musician is actually highly educated, beyond anyone in his field. |

It can be press release by QP, it can be send over QOL mailing lists etc., but in his private soapbox... I'm businessman myself and no-one can force me to post in LiveJournal details of my business affairs (company's web-site is better place), but as I wrote since he used it for business before, he could write something to us. |
