as announced on QOL a short while ago. Very sad, I was so excited about Verona. On the other hand Milano is a nice city, so it should be fun, too. |
Vali 01.04.2008 15:37 |
oh no ... :( it would have been very special ... |

GEEEEEEEEE i'm quite disappointed... ok my friends let's not be sad :) let's meet at the Forum in Assago, Milan ;) |
YourValentine 02.04.2008 02:48 |
I think we are all a bit diappointed about Verona but Milan will also be great. I had already booked hotel rooms in Verona... |
Jeroen 02.04.2008 03:47 |
Yes, Milan will still be fantastic. But like YV siad, Verona was to be SPECIAL. It's weird though. Gdansk cancelled, Verona moved, Madrid postphoned... and this after the official announce of a tour and a day before fan-presale starts? One show change, maybe two sometimes happens. But three? Seems like something is not very right in the tour-camp...?! :-/ |

It's acceptable so far but I really hope it won't continue this way. I will not book any flights or hotels until everything is 100% sure. So far I booked only Verona - that was not smart from me. And I still remember 2004 when I paid for flights to Spain and the 46664 festival was cancelled. |

Well, I hoped still the last minute of yesterday it was an april's fool... I had already imagined the athmosphere in the Verona arena, it would have really been special! On the other hand Milan is less distant for me and there is no risk for rain :-D I think I'll buy tickets for the Parterre and unnumbered seats on the first ring of steps. If queenitalia.it are right, these should be the prices: Gold Tribune (numbered): 75 € Parterre and First Ring (unnumbered): 55 € Second Ring (unnumbered): 45 € plus 5 or 10 € for pre-sale and shipping costs I think... I was on the first ring of steps in 2005 so maybe this year we could also decide to be in the parterre, standing under the stage, even if filming is more difficult and it's hard to get a good position... And you? Who is coming to Milan? Where are you planning to go? Parterre or rings? And why? |
YourValentine 02.04.2008 05:11 |
As you know I want a seat because I am short and don't see anything on the floor. I look forward to Milano but I wait for the general sales unless Davide does a FC presale with normal prices. These 75 euro tickets are far from the stage, is that right? |
Mr. Scully 02.04.2008 05:20 |
I'm tall and I will be standing there in the front rows :) The only question is how to buy the tickets :) |
YourValentine 02.04.2008 05:30 |
Mr. Scully wrote: I'm tall and I will be standing there in the front rows :)That's why I need balcony seats:) |
gnomo 02.04.2008 05:40 |
As an Italian, I apologise to all the foreign friends who were looking forward to that special night. I wasn't able to get through to the Italian Fan Club for clarifications, but the promoter was having difficulties in securing the Arena, because the building is an archaeological site - an ancient Roman arena - and there's a lot of limitations and extra requirements to comply with, especially about the logistics and equipment, than in a "normal" venue. For OIQFC members and QOL registered members, tickets for Milan (and Rome) are now available on the presale page (hoping you did receive the link). Shame, really. |
YourValentine 02.04.2008 06:09 |
That was really not your fault, gnomo:) I think we on the internet are guilty of pushing the band to publish the tour dates even if not all dates are secured 100%. So, we should not complain if a date or venue is changed. This has happened before. It would have been nice to see QPR in the Arena but Milano ia also a nice city and worth a visit. The presales are unfortunately not so great for people in Europe (extraordinary fees) and people who want seats and who want to know which seats they get for their booking. |
roy_fokker 02.04.2008 06:17 |
What a pity!! It would have been magical. (And more confortable for who's writing, who currently lives 5 minutes away from the Arena..) :-( :-( |

i wouldn't be surprised if it's already sold out :) the Dutch audience is made of hardcore fans ;) we have some examples here! by the way...ok for the meeting in Milan with all the fellow queenzoners...what about Roma? i'll be there too!! one important question now: how can i purchase tickets from ticketmaster IF they don't ship tickets abroad? Because i tried to buy tickets for another show (Madness in Surrey, july 08) and (it seems) they only ship them to uk and irelan?d! explanations will be appreciated |
