Please hold on, if Alex is going to post in lossless, it's hard enough wading through mp3 to get the lossless stuff, I too would like the show but let's keep it lossless please
It's easy for you to speak, but my internet is very slow, only 128kbps, so if i'll have to wait to flac, the concert i'll take a week to complete. so, L-R-TIGER, if you don't mind, post the mp3 show, and the other guy post the flac version, and he have the two version to choose. flac or mp3. Thank you in andvanced L-R-TIGER

Something to consider... How do you think people were able to get recordings before hi-speed internet connections?

I've discovered today that this recording has some studid gaps in it (not caused by me) so I'm working on it to remove them.
As soon as they all are removed I'll upload it.
Before high speed connections the only choice you have was mp3,so you downloaded it no matter the time it took cos they was no other choice, many years ago when there was no broadband avalaible in my city it took me hours to get a concert but it was the only choice I had so no complaints, nowadays for some people there are other formats and for speed reasons or any other personal reason, you may have the same thing(at lower quality yes but have it all the same)and not waiting hours and hours to dowload a wav or flac file.
PS:I post the mp3 version for you Mr Bulsara but when Alex post the FLAC version I will erase it so as to have the better version on the board and we all live in peace.cheers! link
Sorry folks but my recording is lossy (2 CD's, present from a friend collector - I gotta point out that I completely trust this pal's good will)
checked with TAU - here some caps: link link link
Listening to this show carefully while I just started editing (using Philips professional headphones) I realized that it was dripping with digital noise and could identify that frecuency cut-off typical of MPEG.
Just checked with TAU to corroborate my suspicion.
Now we must wait for a loseless version.
Cheers.
Thanks for checking Alex ! Hope you're doing fine !
now, anyone wiing to help and check his own files ? Easy to do and could be really helpful here on Queenzone.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Olivier,
France.
Sorry Mr Bulsara, I would upload it, but I never bothered to download Philly 78 as it is barely listenable (so called very good quality). There are at least 10 Jazz concerts that sound better in mp3 than Philly 78 in flac.
Perhaps I could upload something other concert from the Jazz era for you in mp3 if you have a request.
