I find that the build up to these new tour dates has left me with a bitter feeling of anger towards Brian. I have no idea why it’s Brian I am annoyed with. Im not sure what there reasons are for not touring certain places. There are many places that want to see Queen and yet they don’t seem to listen. When WWRY first left the UK it headed down to Melbourne, Australia. Why???? When you find that answer out, answer my next question. Why have they not toured or mentioned Australia!??? Sorry, But I find these ridiculous. I have seen Brian here do solo shows, I have met Brian here from WWRY, yet no tour…. How many others please around the globe have they missed… ……. I am in such a bad mood now… Im going to go stroke the cat and think of a plan. |

There's bound to be some disappointment. I just hope if a North American leg comes around, they don't completely ignore the entire middle section of the U.S. (and Canada) again. Something within driving distance please.. Colorado, Texas, Kansas City. Kansas itself is a long shot but at least *something* in the middle would be a nice gesture. Why not revisit Houston? Or at least Dallas? Man, they screwed up royally last time, all in an effort to be unreachable to me. ;) |

If they come to the Staples Center here in L.A. I'll have a reasone to be proud of L.A. I'm gonna go rant to Brian May |

Everyone in the world thinks Perth is a brand of mint or something. Fucks sake, Brian. You can afford the flight. Get your curly haired ass down here. The song is called "WE WILL ROCK YOU", it's not called "WE WILL ROCK FROM A COMFORTABLE DISTANCE OF 8000km". |

I can´t understand how people still think that Brian, or even Roger & Paul, are the people who decides wich country or city are going to visit... . |
masterstroke_84 20.03.2008 00:10 |
There are promotors who decides that... Queen is not a fucking garage band who play where they want... is a business in some ways... and if a city is not equal to sure $$$$... you can be waiting all your life and the gig won´t happen. |
...assdude.... 39702 20.03.2008 00:44 |
^ Im sure if Queen wanted to play some where they would…. And Im sure its not all about money… for Queen that is. |

You´re talking too soon... These dates are not ALL the tour dates... just the european dates... why you just calm down a minute? and WAIT...?? Its obvius that the tour won´t have only 20 or 25 gigs... US tour, and Japan tour will happen... thats for sure. |

john bodega 20.03.2008 05:43 |
Perth will be left out. Brian is still probably upset that his gig here tanked about 10 years ago, I wouldn't blame him for being bitter. I'd laugh if they picked either Sydney or Melbourne, but not both. Haha, that'd ruffle some feathers. |
pow wow 20.03.2008 05:44 |
And dont forget they're doing Dubai. Thats where I stop off on the way to Perth - maybe they're going the same route. Cant see it being this year though. **looks out the window and can see the Liverpool Echo Arena :-)** Sorry! |
Bohemian Rahpsody 20.03.2008 07:32 |
Yep, Zebonka is right. There will be no Queen for Perth. I will still hope, but I will hope in vain. *sigh* |

i totally agree with you like i was never able too see the show men his self Freddie Mercury perform as i was too young as i'm only 24 years old and i major queen fan. but i was told by my father that queen + pr are going too tour but i dont know why they cant make their way down too australia aswell like i can admit i hate paul rodgers with a passion, because i think he thinks his a total freddie mercury.and i'm a afraid too see them get really involved in queen without freddie & i have this feeling that people are just going too forget all about him,i know that sounds crazy but i just hate paul for that reason. i would still love too be able too see the other 2 brian & roger. but another thing why are ther still calling theirselves queen still. Freddie dead,John's in hiding somewhere, god knows where so theres only roger & brian left with the IDIOT paul doing the lead singing & i new bass player what do they think if they change their name from queen they wont sell as many cd's & things thats just my i know i sound like a idiot & a bitch & i've totally changed the subject but thats my feelings on this subject. And one other thing what the hell is happening with the queen movie they are meant too be making,i havent heard a thing about it. so if anyone else has plz write too me or add me too msn message if you guys have it supersexy_4_you@hotmail.com well thanks everyone i've had my say & i'm happy now |

I agree that missing out places stinks. Last tour they said they are not playing Scotland as there is no suitable venues. I was really dissapointed, but they are playing Glasgow in October so I will see them this year. But why was the venue not good enough last year? Paul played a solo gig there? |
john bodega 20.03.2008 09:34 |
Won't please someone visit this damn city! >:( aha |
Legy 20.03.2008 10:59 |
Paul Rodgers did a radio interview with a radio station here in Houston a few weeks ago. He mentioned that tour dates for a "World Tour" would be released in the middle of March. It's obvious other tour dates have not been finalized. So we're just going to have to be a little patient. I'm pretty sure they want to be with their families for the holidays. So, if the do come across the pond, it might be next year. Also, I know they're going to be touring South America, so they might add a few shows here in the States before or after they visit South America. We're just going to have to play the waiting game. |
Mr Faron Hyte 20.03.2008 11:35 |
You people who are bitching and whining and complaining ... you realize there will be more dates on other continents? Did you bother to read the press release? The one that mentions future-but-yet-to-be-finalized dates in Latin America? Which indicates that the 28 dates released yesterday will *not* be the only dates on the tour? What is it about the Queen fan that causes their first response to any news be a whiny overblown complaint? How about trying a dose of common sense? |
PieterMC 20.03.2008 12:10 |
People should remember that it was not until the last European tour was virtually over that there was an announcement of dates in Aruba, USA and Japan. Even later still came the North American tour announcement. |
Major Tom 20.03.2008 13:23 |
And not one, not ONE date in scandinavia but like four in Germany! What the hell? |
LucTonnerre 20.03.2008 15:14 |
I honestly wish they wouldn't tour at all nor produce another album. Let QUEEN rest... for Freddie's sake... |
Now Im Here 20.03.2008 15:14 |
There'll be other dates released, so there's a chance you'll get a date. In the meantime, you'll have to put up with it. Just like those in Scotland had to put up with Ireland, Wales and England getting dates, while they were left out. |

Freddie's been dead for nearly 17 years. Stop using his memory as a weapon against the living. Its sad people care more about the dead than they do about the living. |

Let the Queen name rest for the sake of a glorious 20-year history of the four piece band (including Freddie), and record new material with a new name. Pretty logical, isn't it? |

Where I live, Edmonton (Alberta, Canada), they really should not have an excuse to skip again this time around. Why? Well, I figure if the Queen tribute act 'Queen - It's A Kinda Magic' can sell out this place THREE years in a row, 2004-2006: link ...then Queen and Paul Rodgers can surely sell out this place with one date: link I've seen Roger Waters and Van Halen there, as well as The Police at Commonwealth Stadium all here in town last year, and they were close to if not all sold out. Just my 2 Canadian cents, really. |

this is the european leg. so why complain about Australia? Portuguese fans have reason to complain. 5 concerts in Germany? 3 in Spain? going to all contries (not including northen europe and East Europe) and we are left out? i know Portugal is not so far away from Spain.. but €46 for tickets in Madrid plus costs for the trip? no thanks. how about canceling a date from Germany and ading a new one for Portugal? We, Portuguese fans never had the luck of seeing Queen live untill 2005, they never did a concert here , believe it or not. When the 1st European Leg in 2005 was announced, i was really mad because they forget us again. But they did the open air concert in July, and now they're going the same way. |

I'm sorry, I've been really shitty all day, so I'm going to take it out on the interweb because I don't know you guys soo *clears throat* Mkay: Don't you think Freddie would want them to keep making music? It's what Roger and Brian want to do and who cares whether they still call themselves Queen - that's probably their way of remembering Freddie and if people like Queen + PR, they'll go and check out Queen and find Freddie and all and Paul isn't neccecelery "taking over Freddie" or "Trying to be Freddie" he's just singing some songs with a couple of really cool musicians, and Deaky, he obviously doesn't want to be in the spotlight anymore and you should let him be like that and welcome the new bassist and all, I mean you guys never got angry that Queen had keyboardists in instead of Freddie playing piano, I'm sure you could make a case saying that they were complete idiots for that and that the other guy was trying to be Freddie on the piano or whatever. *Becomes Chris Crocker* LEAVE THEM ALONE!! *Is slightly less shitty now* Thank you =) |

It pisses me off so much that people have actually been annoyed enough to write and complain to Brian about this tour and where it isnt going! The fact is they have to tour places which logistically make sense, and particularly at their age, and considering they dont want the tour to last forever, its hardly surprising they wont reach some places! People who got to see them last time in particular have no right to complain, as there were plenty of other places they didnt go to last time, and almost everyone else should just suck it up and travel if their that desperate! It seems some people have this idea that the band owes them something, or that they've been wronged somehow because the locations of the tour dont suit them - its this horrible possessiveness of celebrities! At the end of the day, they are human beings who want a tour to last X long and to be as successful as possible - beyond that, its pretty much out of their hands as a promoter takes over. The only people I have any sympathy with are people from Australia, which didnt get them at all last time I dont think, and arent going to this time as it stands. But for people who are complaining about no Irish dates - they went there last time - just do what people from Scotland or wherever had to do last time, and travel to your nearest England or Wales date - there are plenty of cheap places to stay in say Liverpool if you start looking now, and a ferry across wont cost the earth. As for people from Manchester who Ive heard saying "Why no MEN date?" you buggers have had every gig ever for god knows how long, and Ive spent my entire life travelling there! Get over it and make the 40mins drive to blooming Liverpool for crying out loud, which has finally been given a venue decent enough for these kind of events, having had NOTHING for years! |
