I beleive that the above show was posted on Dime, like a few others I'm with AOL (don't laugh) therefore i cannot access Dime. I would be most grateful if some kind soul would be good enough to post that show on QZ.
Many thanks in advance.
Hi,
would you request your requests in the request-forum please!
By the way If I would have this show I would post it. But sorry it´s not in my collection.
regards
W.
Effectively, Queen played in New York in September, but not in July (they only played from the 1st to the 14th of July, from Seattle to Oakland).
So the correct date is probably 28th of September. The first of three last concerts of The Game tour, all three played in the same location, the 28th, 29th and 30th.
The gig from the 29th was also recorded, as well as the 30th.
Queenconcerts.com quote the sound of this concert as "very good minus quality".
the tracklist should be :
28.09.1980 - Queen in Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, USA
01. 2:09 Intro
02. 1:46 Jailhouse Rock
03. 3:05 We Will Rock You fast
04. 3:16 Let Me Entertain You
05. 4:57 Play The Game
06. 2:28 Mustapha
07. 3:49 Death On Two Legs
08. 2:02 Killer Queen
09. 2:12 I'm In Love With My Car
10. 5:42 Get Down, Make Love
11. 3:32 You're My Best Friend
12. 4:38 Save Me
13. 5:06 Now I'm Here / Vocal Improvisation
14. 1:36 Dragon Attack (cut)
15. 1:20 Now I'm Here reprise
16. 5:59 Fat Bottomed Girls
17. 4:10 Love Of My Life
18. 3:27 Keep Yourself Alive / Drum solo
19. 11:45 Guitar solo / Brighton Rock finale
20. 4:18 Crazy Little Thing Called Love
21. 5:15 Bohemian Rhapsody
22. 6:18 Tie Your Mother Down
23. 3:29 Another One Bites The Dust
24. 6:25 Sheer Heart Attack
25. 2:18 We Will Rock You
26. 3:29 We Are The Champions
27. 1:20 God Save The Queen
Length : 105:50 (44:40+ 61:10, 2 CDs of course)
So this should be an almost complete concert, with a cut at the end of Dragon Attack, always according to queenconcerts.com.
Pittrek, could you please confirm this is the show available on DimeaDozen ? Would you be that kind to share it with us too on Queenzone ? Of course, as you are in a middle of a great big project, someone else could maybe do it for us too !!

Olivier,

Comments: Good audience recording. Too much distortion. Almost complete, because it misses Dragon Attack. There is other version of this concert including Dragon Attack, but cut.
I finished the download, so maybe I could post it tomorrow, if somebody is interested.
My 1974 thread will arrive later then I originally thought, I'm waiting for something "special" :-)
Great Pittrek !
So you have downloaded another version than the one announced on queenconcerts.com. There are two versions of this show.
Unfortunately, as Bob is hard at work, his website does not list the 1980 shows for the moment, so we don't have this great other source of information on hand to see if there are yet other versions circulating, for example one that would have the Dragon Attack (even in inferior quality as our "masters of remasters" here on Queenzone know how to cut and join sound with a good end result !).
It could be interesting to have this show shared here on Queenzone, so thanks for your offer Pittrek.
Maybe someone having the previous version, the one listed on queenconcerts.com, could upload this too and we could compare and talk about both versions ? Are they taken from the same source ? Is the distorsion problem also the cause of the rating being only good - on the "queenconcerts.com" version ?
Keep up the good work dear Pittrek on the 1974 project. Don't worry, we have all our time, quality is your priority and we enjoy that !

Olivier,
France.
