To be honest I only clicked on the link because I thought that it might be the work of another deluded fool like Innuendo 1990 and I could have a good laugh at your expence. I certainly wasn't expecting anything that good. I loved the dwarf and the Queen's 'pissed off' attitude was hilarious. I fully expect to see this on the DVD extras of your first Hollywood blockbuster.
Well done.
fatty.
P.S What is the writing above the drawings? I saw A KIND OF MAGIC, MAD THE SWINE and something about Dustin Hoffman?
Haha, cheers. I'll take any laughs I can get, even if they are at my expense.
I think the word 'gonzalez' made it into my fake Bayeuax tapestry... there's also 'anno domini' and 'french cuntlips'.
I'm not sure how those got in there... drew that bit in 2005 so I can't remember what the joke was.
I watched this yesterday and I could not get the last two seconds. Youtube does not like my computer.
Anyway, I loved the little twirl you did with the sword. Those looked heavy. And the stunt work(!) - that roll down the hill (haha). I was wondering what the people walking by the park must have thought about the part when you know what (don't want to spoil it for others) happened.
But, gosh, the drawings (which did have a very good likeness) and special effects, music, narration, all of it - amazing. And your sister really did steal the show in that one scene. Ha.
But the funniest for me was the jousting scene and another part that I can't mention because I don't want to ruin it for others.
The music is great! You should be very proud of that.
Yeah they aren't sparring swords, they're actually ornamental... WAY too heavy for swordplay, but we used 'em anyway. Ha-ha.
Thanks for watching it, I had no idea what people would think :/ All the music from the start to where Hippo shows up was done aaaaages ago using Final Cut Pro instead of a proper music-ee program.
The rest was done in under a month to keep me from losing my mind.
Again, thankyou :)
If this is the kind of work you're capable of doing just to keep your mind occupied, imagine what you could acheive it you really set your mind to it.You could be the next Tarantino (even though he's shite now).
I'm not just saying this to be kind because I'm not really a kind person but you should really consider film making as a career.
fatty.
Hehe, you're saying this to a guy who's inches away from cancelling his next movie... !!
I'm at this terrible level where I'm starting to get ambitious sorts of stories in my head, but relying on my family as cast/crew and my neighbourhood for locations is no longer enough. And no longer practical; they're all growing up and getting lives of their own in my family. Tough road forward 'n' all!
But thanks man, it means a bunch :)
