Hello,
since almost all Queen concerts had some "opening bands" before their concert, I would be interested to know if there are some known RECORDINGS of these support acts.
I know e.g. that Gary Moore was recorded on one Magic Tour show, I unfortunately don't remember which one
What about Thin Lizzy's Live And Dangerous album? I think it was compiled from lots of different shows in '77 so there's a good chance that some songs are from Queen Lizzy tour. I'm not sure about this, though. Anyway, it gives a good idea what they sounded like when supporting Queen.

Gary Moore or Marillion would be my personal choices.
What about Bow Wow Wow? <insert laugh track here> I remember reading about them in the fan club biography of the band. Aparently they were booed off stage. I've always wondered why.

A video recording of Iron Maiden supporting Queen in 1985 for Rock in Rio has just been officially released on the new Live After Death DVD. It feels funny to watch Bruce and the band use Queen's stage accessories, like the lighting rig. Worth watching despite the less than good picture quality.
I remember a band in 1984 in Leiden....Called Airrace. Man they couldnt play. The crowd was shouting, booing and whistling(?)them completely from stage.... Never seen anything like that ever again.... Every other move on stage was welcome with a gr8 cheer...
