Originally I got this from Bokkepoot on the Queen hub. I'd like to thank him for this and also for the permission to share it here. Very nice recording, though incomplete. This was Queen's first visit to Walbühne. Very rare appearance of both Body Language and Back Chat. There is a cut in the middle of Get Down Make Love. Just before the start of Fat Bottomed Girls, Freddie dedicates the song to "... all the dirty people in the audience which are a lot of...for all the people who likes fucking a lot" ! Priceless :-) Artist: Queen Date: 15.5.1982 Venue: Waldbühne, Berlin, Germany Disc 1 (41:35) 01. Flash (intro) 02. The Hero 03. We Will Rock You (fast) 04. Action This Day 05. Play The Game 06. Staying Power 07. Somebody To Love 08. Now I'm Here 09. Dragon Attack 10. Now I'm Here (reprise) 11. Love Of My Life Disc 2 (38:34) 01. Get Down Make Love/Instrumental Inferno 02. Under Pressure 03. Body Language 04. Back Chat 05. Fat Bottomed Girls 06. Crazy Little Thing Called Love 07. Bohemian Rhapsody 08. Thank you very much...!! ;) what about the missing songs? Save Me, Another One Bites The Dust, WWRY and WATC? |
josedequeso 31.01.2008 12:03 |
Thanks very much, it sounds much better than my old mp3 copy. But yes, what about the missing tracks? Maybe someone who has a lossless copy of the inferior version can share those to make this share complete? |
The Real Wizard 31.01.2008 14:05 |
There are a couple other versions, so I'll do a bit of homework and get back to you on this one. |
The Real Wizard 01.02.2008 14:52 |
Okay... here's Save Me from a slightly higher generation audience tape: (edited... see Vlatko's post below) I faded it in and out a couple seconds before/after the cuts on the version shared here, so anyone who wants to do a cross-fade of the two shouldn't have any problem with it. I strongly believe that Dust, WWRY, and WATC on some versions were patched in from another show (or at best, an inferior, distorted source of this show; anyone want to check every other recording from 1982? :) |
josedequeso 01.02.2008 15:08 |
muchas gracias Bob! |

vlatko 01.02.2008 16:15 |
Thanks a lot, Bob (and GtKingRat, of course)! And with the song you provided I tried to make the whole recording even better. Since the end of Love Of My Life didn't continue fluently to Save Me, I corrected it. I adjusted the speed of Save Me to match with the rest of the recording, then joined both tracks by cross fading and finally divided them into two tracks again. So there are two brand new tracks now at the very end of CD1. Love Of My Life, ending with vocal improvisation, and Save Me, starting with the first notes of piano. Let me know if you like it. Enjoy! link |

Queenrockyou 01.02.2008 16:49 |
Thanks Vlatko !! Could you please explain us how you split the tracks in two ? Because some would tell you that according to the way you do this, it could lead to some small errors. If you worked it the wrong way, it would be just the information needed to do the BEST share possible ! And if you did it right, then everybody would know how to proceed also if they want to do that sort of things !! Regards, Olivier, France. |

Regards, Olivier, France.I did it all in Audacity, I selected the second part of the track, then exported selection to wav. Then deleted the selection so just the first part remained ending precisely at the point of split. Exported again to wav. Converted Wav to FLAC and this is the result. I played the tracks and didn't hear any errors so I uploaded it. I really don't know if I did it right way, but I still keep the whole track in wav before dividing, so I can do it again or upload it for someone who knows how to do it correctly. I'm quite new into these things, but I'd love to learn it. So any advice are welcome. |

Basically, the risk of doing it like this is getting SBEs (sector boundary errors). There may be a click when the NIH Reprise changes over to Love Of My Life. But, nice job nonetheless! |

Sir GH

ah yeah
wrote: Basically, the risk of doing it like this is getting SBEs (sector boundary errors). There may be a click when the NIH Reprise changes over to Love Of My Life. But, nice job nonetheless! Thanks Bob! So it can be heard only after burning the CD? Cause now it seems to be ok. Meanwhile I downloaded a program called CD wave editor to solve this problem with SBEs and I can split it with this. If it's the only thing to do just I can do it very quickly. So if anyone is interested, I'll do it again and correctly this time. |
The Real Wizard 02.02.2008 01:32 |
I just listened carefully to bits of this recording, and the problems are far worse than SBEs: each track is missing about 1 second. GtKngRat, could you get in touch with Bokkepoot to see where he got this from? |
stark 02.02.2008 08:59 |
If anyone could use my help I'm happy to post the split tracks - just tell me which source to use! |

Hello everyone, first of all... the original mediafire-files are not all alive, so I go upload the in the starting topic mentioned files again: link link link second the source of this recording. I have copied approx 5 years ago lot's of CD's from a Queenfriend here in Holland. I can remember that there were some problems sometimes with the paperlabels on the CD's. That's why the last track(s) of each CD are not shared (it was not possible to copy them without SBE and other errors). To verify this, I will ask this Queenfriend if he can try to copy those tracks. Hopefully this will work okay. Sir G_H, I have explained this problem in a mail two weeks back. We can be very lucky that Dortmund 1984 could be shared complete. Hopefully we have some luck with this Berlin show too ! |
The Real Wizard 09.03.2011 13:27 |
Thanks for following up on this one. A clean copy of Berlin 82 would be very welcome. Glad there's an explanation for why Save Me is missing. So there's another track after TYMD? I thought that was the last track, as it was recorded on a 90 minute tape.. |
TimBHM 13.03.2011 13:01 |
Because I have a memory like a sieve I can't remember were there any other sources for this show? |
The Real Wizard 14.03.2011 10:38 |
As far as I know there's only the one aud source. So let's see what comes of this.. |

You can download this from here: link When you open the torrent file, just remove the ticks for those files that you do not want to download before you click OK. |
tonybalne 15.10.2017 19:58 |
Third and fifth parts don't exist on Mediafire and the torrent is completely dead. Please re-up the files, thank you. |
