Comments : 24th gig from the Jazz Tour in USA and Canada. Freddie's voice was quite exhausted ! Fat Bottomed Girls was the last Queen single at the time, as Freddie said during the concert. And I'm quoting Queenonstage here : "This was the first bootleg cd out from this concert. From US & Canada 'JAZZ' tour. Nice 2cd, only tricky thing is that a 'handclap' noise can be heard to clearly between some of the songs. Photos on cover is from 86 & 85." Artwork is included in the last archive file here (with this info.txt file). Not that the format is not an usual CD box, the front is 11,9 cm x 13,8 cm, with nothing on the back. The back is in fact a 4 page mini booklet, with Freddie image apparent on the back, each image 12 cm x 11,8 cm.. The box is a 2cd box in unusual format, with a flip in it containing the 2 cds, pivoting to let us pick and open the mini booklet on the back. Well, that's how I received my copy ! Note too that '39 was not listed on the 1st CD, but in fact it is here. I haven't added anything. And, also in this last archive, you can find something, not really a review (if someone wishes to contribute, feel free to !), but a list of What was said during the concert, between songs. Freddie & Brian spoke french at some moments. A big thank you to Josedequeso for his help on that !! Of course this will be shared as torrent soon, I am quite sure it will be done very shortly ! Well, I thought rapidshare and mediafire were really universal. In the case of rapidshare, there is the problem of having to wait between downloads if you don't pay for a premium account, but am I wrong if I say that everyone can still download the files ? Even if it means waiting between downloads, in the end everybody can have the files, or am I wrong ? Of course mediafire is much more appreciated when you're downloading, because this problem doesn't exist, but I got some bad experience with them as far as uploading is concerned, so I share mainly via rapidshare (never any problem for the moment); but I was doing this because I thought it was more universally available... And talking about torrents, I think it is not as "universally available" as a mediafire link or a rapidshare link. It can be more convenient for people who can use this, but I think it's not accessible to every single one. I can't use it, because my computer is limited, it is used for work, and I wanted to use it for torrents, I would have to buy me a new one and pay for a new internet connection too. And it is still P2P isn't it ? So people can have a bad feel about this because it can mean lower security in some people's minds. And people can also be afraid because it can seem difficult to start using torrents or requiring computer skills they don't have (I personnally have been told it wan't that complicated !). But of course, torrents are quite widely used here, so if someone wants to share as torrent, it is not a problem. And most gigs uploaded as mediafire or rapidshare or everything else of that kind is finally uploaded by someone into torrents ! Hope this could be the same the other way sometimes, to make it really available to anyone, which I think is the main goal of a share via a forum. Am I wrong thinking a mediafire or rapidshare link is less "universally available" than torrents ? Are there some of us who can't use rapidshare at all or is it just the problem of waiting between downloads that is a pain in the ass ? Thanks a lot to explain me what is wrong or less interesting with a mediafire or rapidshare link compared to a torrent. I don't know myself because I can't use torrents, but maybe explaining me your own experience of this type of sharing can learn me some things I don't know !! hope the torrent for this will be ready soon ! Olivier don't get me wrong, I really appreciate your share it's very good of you. Rapidshare does not work at all for me, I don't know why. In reading the messages attached to other shares it would seem many are in the same boat. I really do not know why it is that way, perhaps it's because I'm with AOL (which is crap by the way). Let make clear though that I think it's very good of you sharing this show in whatever format. Might I ask what the label was, I have the gypsy eye version it does not sound as good as this? Sam |

I just asked this because I had this question in mind for a time and thought it was the moment to ask this ! So everything's fine ! I just needed to share your experience of rapidshare or mediafire, and didn't understood if the fact that it could not work at all for some of us was a reaity for most of us, or few of us, and why it wasn't working. In your case, it could be a problem with AOL, which you're true is a real pain, I remember having use AOL services quite a long while ago (in the first years or so), and it was terribly less interesting than other web services (connection being cut very regularly and so on...). But are there any other ones who can't access these shares, and why ? And do you have access to mediafire links ? This is not the Gipsy Eye release (called Live Achievements if I am right), this was made by Continental Sounds. I haven't compared it to it because I don't have the other one. Queenonstage.com has those two bootlegs listed, have a look at this : link and that : link Maybe someone having both could help us with that ! Olivier, No problem, I must ditch AOL actually you're right. mediafire seems to work ok, as long as I don't use it at peak times. Thanks for the heads up on Queenonstage.com I'll have a listen. I'm waiting on a trade version of the same show which is from the master. I had a listen to a sample of your show on Joe's site though it sounds perfect. We're all looking for the best shows on this forum, it's great really. Also i think the Jazz tour seems to be a favourite of most Queen fans. Sam |
