Some Newspapers on Poland say that on September Queen + Paul Rodgers will be play in Gdansk.
This is special gig "Freedom Space" for Polish "Solidarnosc". link link link
That's great news!
So, now we know Bri and Rog will play at the 46664 in London in July, someday in 2008 at the O2 arena, and also in Poland!
Quite exciting to hear about new dates. :D
Nothing is confirmed yet...
Good thing is- 2 out of 3 previous gigs (Jean Michel Jarre played in 2005, Dave Gilmour in 2006, Rod Stewart in 2007) were broadcast on national TV... could be an awesome bootleg...! :)
I today phone to Gdansk. And they said: They couldn't confirm and couldn't not confirm.......( but I think YES.) And they said: Band confirm tour in February. :)

That's pretty fucking far away from about anywhere :-( Can't they do Warszawa? I hope they don't plan to do a tour of Estonia, Latvia etc. I guess I'd have to forget about my plans of attending all the gigs :-)

I know what you mean- I used to live in wroclaw- not far from Czech Republic, that's almost as far for me; nevertheless- I think it;s good they are not doing Warsaw- at least Gdansk is a beautiful city ;) On the other hand- they could have chose Cracov... :)
Moscow seems to be on the list as well...
Well, I made some new (girl-)friend(s) *wink* last year - and going to Moscow might just be an option for me! :-D
(I also already checked trips to Gdansk - it's very easily possible from here, with a good connectiing flight - but also expensive. And to my surprise a LOT more expensive then Moscow!)
Old news- it's DEFINITELY canceled... They are still trying to make a gig in Poland happen- but it will be definitely in a different place... The date is still available...
It's not the promoter- it's the sponsor...
