Such a shame... Just the fact that a woman had such a high position in a place like Pakistan shows some progress, and then-Boom!-dead. Probably killed by extremists who couldn't handle a woman who had more power than they did.
I thought there would be an attempt since I heard about her return, but I thought she'd be a bit more careful.
It looks like killing her was bloody easy.

What I find interesting is how all those Pakistani MEN are mourning her death (and rioting, but, that's not the point). It seems so odd in that part of the world for a woman of strength to be so highly and openly regarded.

while i agreed with you Melissa, I think the emphasis should be less on the word "regarded" and more on the word "feared"
