It looks like it's fashionable nowadays for old bands to reform for one concert... :P
Mason also told XFM that the band were close to reforming for a Syd Barrett tribute concert at the Barbican last year but other commitments prevented it from happening.
Woah!
Well, I'm not really into Pink Floyd... But it still sounds like good news.
Forget it, Raf, old news!
Roger Waters (doing another solo tour next year - GO SEE IT everyone that even only slightly likes the Floyd!!!), Nick Mason and Rick Wright have been saying this over and over again after Live 8. "The doors are open", yes. But David 'don't call me Dave' Gilmour refuses to enter.

I have seen his show a few times. Last year was simply awesome! The tailgsting in the parking lot in Philly was so much fun. It was 1985 for one night! Anything goes atmosphere! Dark Side was great as well.
Grow up Gilmour!!! "Coming Back To Life" is just so damned beige when you line it up against the stuff you made with your old band.... just fucking reunite. You were a lot stronger together.
